My point is that these are extreme circumstances. He thinks that because of Zoya, his mother could die. In his place, I would want to strangle her - such would be my anger. No offense to people who think differently. But here, it is not a simple question of a guy slapping a girl. It is not a gender issue at all. Here, it is a son, slapping whom he thinks is responsible for his mother's condition.

girl will never slap a guy unless she is questioned of her character

but then slapping cannot be justified under any circumstances
many justify here
but i have seen male slapping the female
its not a joke and the female s mind set after such incident is nothing funny
if this is the case in couple then imagine for two strangers

By the way you've put it I kinda agree with you. From the perspective of a son it seems quite normal but again the gender perspective cant be taken off. There s this norm which we follow in our society..in every educated society..never raise hands on a woman. Cause the moment you do it you lose your dignity and respect. But this is my opinion

EXACTLY, i dont think that in that anger and situation people ever think rationally. Had i been in Asads place i would have done the same. But all of us know that he will repent later and that is the part i am eager to see.
I am totally against abuse towards women but this situation was different, he thought that becos of zoya his mother is dying...
Lets wait and watch till we find out how will Asad find out the truth.. I think Mariam will tell him. But whatever happens Dilavar mamu is a dead meat :P

according to me..Both asad and zoya are right, for Asad that was a weak moment so he couldnot control himself .he saw his mother in critical condition so he couldnot control his anger.but slapping a woman is not a right thing.

I respect your opinion. We agree to disagree here. This case is different compared to physical abuse. These are extraneous circumstances. His mom is dying because she put the people he are closest to in danger. I think under such circumstances, an extreme reaction is very possible.

bold - that's all I am trying to say. And yes, I understand that people may not agree with me here. I respect everyone's opinion here. These are just mine...
