Here's my question - if the roles were reversed, would you justify a slap? For instance, if Zoya had slapped Asad for the same reason, would you be okay?
My point is that these are extreme circumstances. He thinks that because of Zoya, his mother could die. In his place, I would want to strangle her - such would be my anger. No offense to people who think differently. But here, it is not a simple question of a guy slapping a girl. It is not a gender issue at all. Here, it is a son, slapping whom he thinks is responsible for his mother's condition.
