Your send comment is really your personal observation of how you see Zoya rather than a fact. Two people getting lovey dovey does not have to involve a hug or kiss for the observers to feel awkward. I am not alone here regarding this perspective.

Laila,

It is not about who is in the majority. It is not what you or I feel.

It is what Gul is trying to show.

When you watch Gul's shows, please keep in mind that EVERYTHING IS SUBTLE.

Unless she sent you a personal email, then seriously, this is your view and your personal interpretation.

You will NOT get monologues and soliloquy. Everything is shown through the actor's eyes. I am not the only one who feels there is dormant feelings, and you know that. I respect your opinion totally.

All I am trying to tell you is, don't judge a scene based on one or two watches. Sometimes, when you go back to scene retrospectively, things will start making sense.

And it is important to see the show through the maker's eyes.

Again, unless she told you this personally, no that was not conveyed. And by the way, she does not direct the show.

If this is the first show from the PH you are watching, you might understand LATER, what I am trying to tell you here- you will start feeling you are watching nonsense, when there will be very few others who have patiently seen the story unfolding. That is the beauty of Gul's story telling and the team's direction.

You can write me off as another blind PH lover , but do consider this- EVERYTHING THAT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE IS NOT NONSENSE

It COULD also mean that you have not understood it properly.

(Well, Some things are just that- NONSENSE!)

I have not said anything about watching nonense anywhere, so where you came up with that thought or idea, bewilders me. However every story needs to unfold slowly, it's a drama, if you throw it up all at once, what is left?

Again, we will have to agree to disagree Daydreaming of Jahanpanah was more on his obsessiveness and orderly demands rather than an emotional desire to be with him. It was funny and she had his mom and his sister there. Not exactly the type of day dreaming we do when we fancy someone

Yes. But his sister and mom were not the subjects of her dream. It was about Jahanpanah and herself... sincerely wish you could see the subtlety of her thoughts there.

Again, perspective and not enough to justify she has feelings for him.

"Goodbye, said the fox. And now here is my secret, a very simple secret. It is only with the heart that one can see rightly. What is essential is invisible to the eye."

"In those days, I didn't understand anything. I should have judged her according to her actions, not her words. She perfumed my planet and lit up my life. I should never have run away! I ought to have realized thetenderness underlying her silly pretensions. Flowers are so contadictory! But I was too young to know how to love her."

And this quote means?

🤗

I apologise if I have bugged you .

Apologize for the screwed up format and font - this is a nightmare to respond too😉

Laila, I think the PH house is purposely hiding zoya's feelings right now. I think they want to introduce the Ayaan- triangle first befo they reveal what zoya is really thinking

I am sure we will finally find out that zoya has always loved asad. She can hide her true feelings by masking them with goofy behavior and that's what's happening right now.

You know, that Ayaan triangle is like a pebble in a shoe. As much as you want to ignore it, you have to accept it is still there. If Zoya loved Asad, the question is why? As a director, if they just pull it out of nowhere, that would suck and make this show no different than most desi dramas we see on television. It would be just another one-sided romance.

Great analysis! I agree that Zoya never showed any signs of affection toward Asad specially during those scenes where they fell on top of each other, it was Asad who was shown to be completely smitten by her while she got uncomfortable by the proximity and tried to get away. It happened just recently when she came to return the phone.

After watching last night's episode where Zoya almost met Ayan my thoughts are that the CV's are are maybe planning this big track where Zoya falls for Ayan hence that is why her feelings for Asad are shown to be reserved?!
Because it doesn't make sense why else they keep delaying the meeting between them, it almost seem inevitable.

I agree; if anyone has feelings it's Asad, not Zoya. I do wonder if the plans are still in place for her to fall in love with Ayaan first. I hope not...I hope this thought has been dismissed. Then again, Indian writers NEVER show how a woman falls in love with a guy which is sad since so many of the writers are women. We simply see her in love because the guys says "I love you.' Or, she's married to him and that's her duty - to love him because he is her husband.

Love your post. Absolutely agree that currently Zoya does not seem to exhibit any romantic feelings toward Asad, even in the uber romantic "Mitwa" moments. I would also luv to see Zoya fall for Asad and try to get his attention by becoming a "proper" muslim girl. The scenes would be hilarious:)

You are welcome. Glad you liked it and let us hope the writers read this post and see what the public are looking at watching...
