We will have to agree to disagree here. Of course it was awkward to have walked in on him, she was definitely uncomfortable with situation but she laughed it off. Your send comment is really your personal observation of how you see Zoya rather than a fact. Two people getting lovey dovey does not have to involve a hug or kiss for the observers to feel awkward. I am not alone here regarding this perspective.
Laila,
It is not about who is in the majority. It is not what you or I feel.
It is what Gul is trying to show.
When you watch Gul's shows, please keep in mind that EVERYTHING IS SUBTLE.
You will NOT get monologues and soliloquy. Everything is shown through the actor's eyes. I am not the only one who feels there is dormant feelings, and you know that. I respect your opinion totally.
All I am trying to tell you is, don't judge a scene based on one or two watches. Sometimes, when you go back to scene retrospectively, things will start making sense.
And it is important to see the show through the maker's eyes.
If this is the first show from the PH you are watching, you might understand LATER, what I am trying to tell you here- you will start feeling you are watching nonsense, when there will be very few others who have patiently seen the story unfolding. That is the beauty of Gul's story telling and the team's direction.
You can write me off as another blind PH lover , but do consider this- EVERYTHING THAT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE IS NOT NONSENSE
It COULD also mean that you have not understood it properly.
(Well, Some things are just that- NONSENSE!)
Again, we will have to agree to disagree Daydreaming of Jahanpanah was more on his obsessiveness and orderly demands rather than an emotional desire to be with him. It was funny and she had his mom and his sister there. Not exactly the type of day dreaming we do when we fancy someone
Yes. But his sister and mom were not the subjects of her dream. It was about Jahanpanah and herself... sincerely wish you could see the subtlety of her thoughts there.
"Goodbye, said the fox. And now here is my secret, a very simple secret. It is only with the heart that one can see rightly. What is essential is invisible to the eye."
? Antoine de Saint-Exupry, The Little Prince
"In those days, I didn't understand anything. I should have judged her according to her actions, not her words. She perfumed my planet and lit up my life. I should never have run away! I ought to have realized thetenderness underlying her silly pretensions. Flowers are so contadictory! But I was too young to know how to love her."
