Zoya's got along way to go before she actually feels anything for Asad let alone love.At this moment she doesn't even feel any sort of attraction right now but I think they should start showing her atleast find herself getting drawn to him due to his kind,caring nature or even try to atleast understand that he isn't as hard on the outside a she makes out to be.This can only happen if this inner turmoil and denial thing hadn't happened as of yet and we were to see him trying to atleast extend a hand of friendship out towards her especially after that maryam marriage fiasco thing where he was so close to losing her.So as the frendship progresses that is when Asad and Zoya both realize that there is something more that they feel for each other...thus comes in Asad's inner turmoil,his denial of love which leads to him pushing Zoya away from him.I would like to see gutsy Zoya who has the courage to persue her love.with getting Asad to admit his feelings.I also dnt understand why evryone seems to think that Asad is already in love!To me the inner turmoil that he felt was due to him getting so close to someone else other than his family member's and we all know that Asad's a loner ,so for him to feel any sort of attachment with anyone out of that circle his created for himself is just is just a big no,no.Yes he felt something,a certain force but not love in my eyes anyway.

@Topic poster, I wouldn't know what you've encapsulated in the word "feelings", if you are equating feelings=love, then I certainly agree with your post.

However, for me feelings=emotions (of some sort), and then, I would have to respectfully disagree with your opinion.

I think Zoya does seem to have some entangled emotions towards Asad. She's heavily affected by his words, what he thinks of her-- it really matters to her. And there is a graph of change there too. Earlier, she used to just argue with Asad, when he called her trouble or modern girl with no tehzeeb. She used to completely dismiss his accusations by calling him khadoos, traditional and what not. They still do that. But now, at times when both of them are emotional, she's reduced to tears by his harsh words. This is change.

After seeing the caring side of Asad during the Mangalpur mishap, Zoya is bound to feel astonished (albiet she was post-traumatic) confused and wanting to see the same Asad. It has to affect her emotionally on some level. When she went to meet Asad with the turmeric paste, Zoya was hoping that their equation has now changed. But seeing Asad build up the defensive wall all over again, left her hurt and confused. Of course she's not aware of Asad's rising attachment towards her, and she is far behind in feeling anything close to love. But she is definitely emotionally affected by Asad's words and reactions on a much deeper level than she thinks.

We all agree she wants his approval but that's not enough for a romance - she has not even mentioned liking him for his looks - yes she likes his six packs but that's still not an indication of love. I think more and more of us are in agreement, this is really not evident.

That's a very good question Laila. After The mangalpur incident, especially the way the truck ride and then back to home scenes were portrayed, I was convinced zoya is in love but the last few episodes have been a little confusing for me.

Is zoya just trying to suppress her feelings by her childlike actions or is she really unfazed by the life changing experience in mangalpur ? Any woman would take time to recover from such a grueling experience. We haven't seen any scenes that show how this has affected her emotionally. They did show asad reflecting in his bedroom, but why not zoya? Yes, she wants his respect and approval but I don't see her yearning for his love like a woman would if she were in love.

I hope the creatives show us glimpses of the woman inside zoya instead of the child that she can sometimes be on the outside. She has a lot of depth, warmth and maturity inside her. I would like to see more of that.

Zoya day dreams about jahanpanah and she asks that question- "what is wrong with me? I am day dreaming about THIS guy!"- Subconsciously Zoya is attracted to Asad. She does not realise it as love yet.

Through lag jaa gale- she could not meet his eyes, why?

She is uncomfortable about these feelings that she cannot put a finger to.

Asad has come to the realisation and he is bent on fighting it...Zoya- will take longer, probably.

I think once that realisation hits her, she will love him unconditionally.

I think a lot of viewers might have thought there was an attraction but for me it was she simply felt awkward being handcuffed to a guy and watching two people making out - that's it...nothing else. She day dreamed about him but that was a long time ago...and that too was about his personality, his restrictions etc. But as a viewer that is not enough to say an attracting exists. When this feeling hits, there has to be some evidence beyond this to give it some sustainability or this show will go in the same direction as nearly every other drama where I always wonder, "she loves him because?..." and the only answer we have is "because he loves her? '

(Again, I feel it is going to come much later- esp if the team wants to go ahead with Ayan- Zoya: Because once Zoya knows she is in love with Asad, she will not sacrifice their love, even for him. If she feels she is between Asad and his brother, she will move out of both their lives- leave the Pandora's box closed foir now.😉)

I truly have a feeling that the writers will not have her fall in love with Asad for a long time coming...in fact I see the Zoya Ayaan romance/friendship and then when Ayaan tells his brother he is in love, he sacrifices Zoya for Ayaan. Then Ayaan finds out at the last minute and sacrifices again...she's a yo-you in all of this and her feelings rarely matter and then, somewhere in all this she is supposed to fall in love with Asad? The show will be a lost cause at this point.
