Thanks shana. Yes, even I live zoya's character so far. Hope they keep it consistent. I actually like the characterization of most of the characters- they are all real and believable.

Amazingly written post! Loved how you brought out the essence of Zoya.

It has rarely happened I have liked a female character as much as Zoya in an Indian show. I adore well written female characters and I hope Zoya isn't changed too much in the future.

Thanks Mona. Sorry, just saw your reply.
Yes, so far zoya's character had been ver consistent and very admirable. Hope she will continue to have this zest in her and not go the usual Rona dhona way.

Wow! You have brought out the character Zoya flawlessly, bheegi!

I love her characterization in the serial and like most viewers, don't want any degradation in it! Let's see what happens in future.

Like you, I too believe Asad will clam up once Zoya regains her consciousness and would hide his feelings!

Bheegi, sometimes I question why I watch this show and then I find the answer.

And it's because of this. I like the characters of Asad-Zoya [in fact love them because they are soo different from each other] but in the end, I come to see the analysis done on them and that just gives me a whole new perspective!

I think like you said, I have this huge feeling that Zoya will change --entirely based on what happens when she finds her father and that is the time when Asad will step in and remind her of who she is --she is the person who does what she wants --cares for people in her own way...and I can't wait for that [if that happens]

Other then that, yes. Yes. Yes. I completely agree with you.

Asad does care for Zoya, just like Zoya knows she can trust Asad with anything [her last resort to almost everything but yet, he is there for her] but he has this issue of letting people [he doesn't know] get close to him.

So yes they are interesting but the analysis makes their characters all the more worthwhile!

Zoya's character has been very well written so far. Hope she will continue to be same as the serial progresses. My biggest fear in the future for her- is her heartbreak courtesy AAK (I know he was hugging and kissing her today but later when she is conscious and in her senses, he will shut her out again) and then when she finds her abbu; finds the truth about her mother's death- she might never be the same.

I knew Zoya would change in some way but I never thought how. Your points lit a light bulb in my head.
She is soo going to become subdued, serious, mature and lose her independence. It reminds me of Kareena's character in Jab We Met. The immature childish carefree Geet who followed her heart became someone serious and mellow until Aditya brought her back to her real self. Asad would do that for Zoya. During this time I imagine Zoya going through a lot of emotional n mental turmoil due to finding out her past/father and/or [possibily] getting and being married to Ayaan and going through hell in his household. Asad will be what Aditya was to Geet, her support and lifeline.

Who hates zoya? I am surprised. She is such a loveable character.

I love all the characters in this show because they are real and none are perfect.

loved the name analysis...knew Asad was lion but didn't know about Zoya...
Zoya is so full of life and ready to help anyone without thinking of the consequences...

Thanks jasw. Yes, asad will not change that soon. Even if he has started feeling something for zoya, it's going to be a while till he reveals it.

I hope the writers are thinking the same- that would make the story better than a typical love triangle

Good luck for your exams.
