Najma entered the room with a tray of soup in hand. This was the wierdest encounter she had ever had with a guest. She didn't even know her.
Zoya sat on the bed, the injured leg wrapped in a cast on the bed, while the other dangling between the bed and floor. She was on her phone, taking
Zoya:ya, ya...hold on a sec...
she looked to Najma
Zoya: excuse me, aap mujhe bata sakte hai, ki iss ghar ka adress kya hai?
Najms : o...kay
awkwardness screamed its name in her tone.
Najma told her the adress, while Zoya repeated it back to the person on the other line
Zoya:...yes, thank you
She hung up and looked at Najma
Zoya: Hi!
Najma held a fake grin
Najma: Hi?
Zoya: Sit
Najma did and handed her the bowl of soup
Najma: Yeh ammi ne bheji hai
Zoya: Really? That's so nice of her
she took it
Zoya: Waise, tumhara naam kya hai?
Najma: Ji, Najma...aapka
Zoya: Zoya
Najma: Aap jaanti hai aap meri bhab-
Dilshaad: Najma?
Both their heads turned to Dilshaad who entered the room with a glass of juice
Dilshaad: Tum yeh neeche bhool gayi thi
She handed Zoya her zide bag
Dilshaad: Tumhara naam Zoya hai na?
Zoya nodded
Dilshaad looked at her leg: Bohot dard mehsoos ho rahi hai na?
Zoya: Thori thori
Dilshaad touched Zoya's cheek
Dilshaa: Bohot pyaari bachchi ho tum...
All of a sudden she felt loved, by a complete stranger, she was getting the touch of a mother, Zoya smiled
Zoya: Kya meh aapko phupi bola sakti hoon?
She unkowingly blurted out
Dilshaad looked at Najma and back a Zoya. She smiled
Dilshaad: Zaroor...
She patted her head
Outside Asad stood watching from a distance. Zoya said something making his mother and Najma laughed. Already she was being welcomed, by not his loving mother only, but also by his sister.
The door bell rung, making Asad come back from his thoughts, his mother looked up, and he signaled her he'd get it...Opening the door he found a man standing in front of him
Asad: Ji kahiye?
Man: Kya Zoya Farooki hai?
Asad: Ji hai, par ab aa nahi sakte, aapke kya madat kar sakta hoon?
Man: Un ke kuch cheeze deliver karne hai
he signaled someone behind hi.
Three men walked up with two boxed on each shoulder
"Kuch cheeze, they brought like a boxes a big as his house"
Asad:...Yeh sab Ms. Farooki ke hai?
Man: Ji haan, unhone hi call karke bola tha.
Asad held a fake smile
Asad: Than You...thank you very much.
...
Asad walked into the room where the three ladies were with the three men, they didn't at all seen tired from holding the boxed, but held straight faces.
Zoya: Whats happening?
Then suddenly remembered
Zoya: OH, phupi yeh mere cheeze hai, maine manga hai
Dilshaad, whose eybrows were raised of surprisement, turned to Zoya
Dilshaad: Ac..accha? Sab tumhari hai?
Zoya: I know, I'm staying for a month par...a woman need alots...right?
Asad rolled his eyes, already he was getting irritated of her blabbering, how can he take another 31 days of this?
" From the looks of this, it seems as if she's moving in"
Dilshaad: Teek hai, tum sab yeh set karo, meh khana taiyaar kerti hoon
Dilshaad exited and najma moved to Zoya's side
Najma: Kahan rehti haiaap?
Zoya: Officially New York se, par kaam se Bhopal aaya hoon, lemme' tell you the guys here are very rude!
She said extra loud, which was meant for Asad
Zoya: Aur looks, looks meh toh teek tak hai, par none of them are hot and dashing like Mahender Singh Dhoni!
Najma's eyes widened."was she for real now? Oh lord what is Asad bhai thinking?"
Asad closed his eyes and was mentally talking to himself "ignore, ignore!"
Zoya: So Najma...
Najma: What?
Zoya: How would you like the honors of being my friend?
she held out her hand
Najma smiled and shook her hand
Asad on the other hand, had on one of his sexy confused faces on.
"Najma and Zoya friends? Impossibel"
Man #1: Sir where do I put this box.
Asad: Put it anywhere
The man put the pox down, which made a little thud making Asad jump back
Asad: What's in there deat cats?
Man#2: Hume kya pata, hamara kaam hai sirf deliver karna.
Asad turned back to face Zoya, who moved her brows up in own facing him
"is she teasing me? Ugh! This was not the day for a suit..."
The begginning to a new love story...from the looks of it not now?
