I don't know if it was intentioned but when Asad maneuvered Zoya to do the kicking and punching herself, it seemed that Asad had finally come to terms with the fact that Zoya is not just any damsel in distress who will quietly stand in the corner and let someone else do her fighting.She would rather die than giving up her independence.
