Hello all you lovely people 🤗
I'm Ankita, and I'm basically an EHM member and a diehard VirMan fan. But since I find VirMan being ignored just like flies being disregarded by roadside vegetable vendors, I find myself writing on a couple that is starting to interest me a lot Asad and Zoya. I must say, I think I'm starting to fall for these two.
I absolutely loved yesterday's fight sequence and before I knew it, I had written a page about it, and I thought I'd share it with you guys.

And so the Lion fought for his Lioness
Asad has never been a man who bends down on circumstances. He fights his way out of them. But he has this inherent part of his character that allows him to make a few exceptions for a certain someone who has destroyed the peace and routine quietness of his life. He bends down, and offers her a hand, anger boiling in his veins; allowing chivalry to take over rage.

Asad may be the prince charming who came to her rescue, but she's no damsel in distress. If he was a lion, she was the lioness. She wouldn't take a helping hand from anybody, not when her hands were in full working condition. She wasn't sorry for her behavior, and she certainly hadn't forgiven the man who had yelled at her very certainly. But she did need to get rid of those goons, so she got herself up and readied herself for the inevitable fight.

There are moments in life where a feeling takes over you, and you kind of go through the motions. You don't know what you're supposed to do, because your mind feels numb and has stopped working. Your body refuses to respond. Are you dead? Of course not, your heart is still beating. So what was this? Love? Not really. This was disbelief. Zoya was incredulous at the fact that the man who never spoken for her, was now fighting to protect her. She just couldn't believe it.

Sometime in life, the things that pulls two people apart is the only thing that can unite them. Sort of like a zipper. Asad and Zoya were two individuals with polar ideals, and they both despised the others stubborn nature. But it was this obstinacy that made them take on the goons alone, without feeling the need to call the police or ask for anybody's help. They wouldn't hold each other's hand and fight the goons; no, holding hands was certainly not permitted. Yet. But falling into each other's arms had become routine by now.

He didn't want her to look up to him; not for protection, not for happiness, not for love, not for anything. He wasn't trying to be a hero. He was a lion, but she wasn't his lioness. He didn't need to protect her. He didn't want to her prince. He didn't need to. But he didn't know why, he just couldn't let her get hurt. He would rather walk over hot coals himself than let her feet be wounded. He would rather get his head smashed by a bottle than let a tiny shard of glass touch her.

Anger is a paralyzing emotion. You can't get anything done when you're angry. People think that it is an interesting, passionate igniting emotion, but it's not. It is helplessness at its worst; an absence of control over mind and heart. Asad's heart told him that he had done the right thing in protecting her, but his mind was filled with innumerable questions. It is true that a lion always protects his territory, but since when had Zoya become part of his territory? Why had felt the need to look after her? Why had he felt the need to protect her? Why had he felt a demon take over him the moment he saw Zoya's lips stained with blood? He didn't know. Not yet.
