The storyline is about Muslim household, how can you expect the conversation without urdu.

When you do not understand the meaning of the word - we are always there to provide you the meaning.

Learning something new should never be a problem.

Yeah so Kasauti zindagi ki and many other shows had bengali families. Don't think the show was in Bengali though.😆

None of the words used are "really" hard to understand.. but maybe I am not the person to say that as I already know Urdu and can understand-speak it 😊

Urdu is not a Muslim language! It's often associated with them though because most of them in India/Pak speak Urdu.

Kawkabon, you are right... many people hav Gujarati or hindi as their mother tongue..nd if urdu then urdu is different from place to place...as in hyderabad, hyderabadi urdu...in bangalore its different... my mother tongue is also similar to katchi, gujarati and sindhi which is called memoni...

They could Urdu words that most people can understand. I have watched dramas from pakistan in the past and never had problem understanding. Writers are trying too hard. At the end of the day, if people have hard time understanding then they will stop watching.

Moreover finding out meaning of a word hours later is not entertainment but headache. No one has time for it as most of us watch more than one show.

Language has nothing to do with religion. Urdu is not a muslim language so why is it always associated with muslims. The show could still be in hindi. I mean it depends on where your brought up. muslims in middle east don't know urdu only arabic, many muslims in america and england will only know english and i'm sure there are many muslims in india who speak hindi.

I agree. I would probably have hard time if they start using really unusual hindi words. We don't see hardcore hindi in most serials they make it so hard for this one. Only serials that had difficult hindi was in ramayan or mahabharat etc. which is understandable.
