@all,
The physical body changes with age, this is a guarantee but the emotions of a person never changes, that remains the same throughout life and that too is a guarantee.
You will experience this for yourself as you grow older. I am much much older that all of you with much much more life and work experiences and exposures to life, that I can assure you.
This story told by Ekta and taken on by SONY TV is a bold step. Not many are willing to risk their place on an entertainment show whether it is a Production House, actors or actresses and especially a channel, a part of the Entertainment Industry which has to keep up with its' counterparts and risk so much to show a very controversial subject that in this modern era most humans still try to keep up with mainstream life.
This show tried to do just that and although like many other show that have been tried before whether they are Movies or TV show or TV serials which has not made much real impact if you really think about it hopefully many will see this show again and again and try to find the truth behind one's own relationship with self, family and their faith. Religion was made by people and IMHO religion is all about the inner soul, caring, understanding, tolerating, sharing, and above all the closest a person can be to another living thing no matter who or what they are.
We are all trying to get to the same place, want the same things in life and ultimately be accepted by a Deity or consciousness when our time is up in this world. Enjoy life one moment at a time truly that is all one can do. Most of us learn from mistakes even if it is too late and as I said before we are not born as babies to be "Bad" we are taught and learn from birth throughout our existence here on planet Earth. This was a very wonderful story and brilliant portrayal throughout even though it has some drama that had to be included because it was told as a story as part of a television series that will live on in my mind because it has brought to the forefront the most important issue/problem that is occurring all over the world and the most important issue/problem and concern on everyone's mind even if they want to admit to themselves or in a public forum.
@Topic maker, In this story Kavya had a true blood relationship to the Hooda family and IMO that is why she survived to tell the story. Rizwan and Preet was not related in any way to the Hooda family although they gave their all, love and care to the Hooda family. Alex
My apologies for the edit, the net here even in the most industrialized developed part of the world sucks.

I agree, there were too many things put in the last episode, and each emotion did not came thr'' clearly.
If the show had run its complete life, it would have been a trat to watch.
Mona and Iqbal were amazing in the last episode!!! I just love them.👏

@tikit
Wonderful story and yes rushed towards the end.
@all - my post on PKHJD's thread "End could have been better" was not meant for this thread. My apologies it was meant for another thread but as I always tell my children "don't blame anyone or anything else" the fault is my own. The post was meant for the thread made by TM krangara on the thread titled " Oh how the mighty have fallen" Again, Maffi. Alex

There are lot if things which could be done... like device could be given to shergill... hr knew everything... since he was kind of preet's friend could have helped in keeping it a secret... could have shown sana giving a statement on death bed about rizwan... could have given a new life to rizwan... was it necessary that a person had to die and no other alternative given to him... rizwan literally stopped himself after hearing abt the baby... he could have thought of other alternative...
So at the end they showed truth rizwan died preet wanted to die with him... that children like rizwan are born to die.. not given life... why couldn't they could show rizwan leading a good life he having a family... y couldn't he could have repainted for his unknown deeds... y was it not shown he made baba caught... lot mre... last epi deserved mre then a rushed ending... y to intro a baby when he was destined to be killed... Coz his or her parents couldn't get this heart to heart conversation earlier..

Y couldn't they show this Conversation earlier... the splendid performance by the actors saved the glory of the rushed epi. .. I wish to them paired again...

Finally brought myself to watch the epi... since I got to know it's ending I was trying to get detached from the series.. but couldn't stop myself from watching the last one

End was predictable... despite of knowing that both could die.. i had a hope that they would escape somehow...
It would have been better that after knowing truth and all confession thing preet got to escape th scene... and laters rizwan die at th spot... thats way tooo real...

I have no prob with ending though... but must say last 2-3 epis were badly scripted and directed...
Like a big terrorist attack is scheduled and in an army of million you just have that suspended officer shergill and his waana be model com assistant... shergill kept on ranting my force my force... but there was nothing...
guards in building who were supposed to be some army Men ran like cowards... their own life was way too more important than secret docs...😆

I was very sad watching the ending of PKHJD. I cried so much, the acting was superb. Both Mona and Iqbal deserve all accolades for the way they acted in those scenes. So does the dialogue writer and director. But having said that, it was hard to watch them have no alternative but to die together. In Preet's place, I may have done the same. Honestly NON of us know how we will behave in a situation like that. It was very intense. Right and wrong get blurred in a moment like that!

The moment Rizwan found out about the baby...That was such an emotional moment. I have tears in my eyes just thinking of it. It is indeed sad that Rizwan, Preet and their child didnt get a chance at a life together. Does this mean that even if you want to change and remedy your mistakes, you are never given that chance? I know Rizwan wanted to destroy the device so that Baba and his people don't get the information. So he decided to sacrifice himself. Therefore Preet also decided to join him, and with her their child! It was brutal to see a pregnant women choose to die. It was so sad and emotional. But I guess this ending was closer to reality. But reality really sucks!

Having said that, I will say the tragic ending did add more to the story. But I would have loved to see them survive, and Baba be arrested (which I assume he was), and Rizwaan get a chance to confront him about how he ruined his life! Rizwan and Preet truly deserved a happy ending, but they didn't get one. Kavya is their legacy and she told their story. But my favorite part of the climax was when Preet called him Rizwaan to his face for the first time, and how when he realised Preet was not leaving he cupped her face and said "Preet...Preet". The intensity of that moment was second to non. The reason we remember the movie Dil Se...was because a patriot fell in love with a terrorist, and sacrificed himself for that love. The same applies to Pyar Ko Ho Jaane Do as well. It was one of the best Indian shows I ever saw!

My hats off to Mona and Iqbal and also to EK and her team for trying out such a bold concept and doing such a good job!

i will not blame PKHJD team for all the chaos and blunders, they already had a script in mind but the khadus channel didnt allowed them and it gets difficult to manage all the stuff n scenes within limited tym

I second each and every word you just said dear.
The show will indeed be remembered as one of the best in the recent times. It's USP was that it depicted he reality way too closely, and we accept it or not but the truth is brainwashed individuals like Rizwaan are seldom given the chance to redeem and heads of the radical institutions such as baba always Scott free. No matter how we try to rationalize. The truth of te matter remains the same.
Having said that, with the minimum time Sony had given them to wrap up the show, the writers and actors did a splendid job and for me it was one of the most realistic endings on Indian television. I don't think there could have been a better ending, considering the time constraints since the writers had to close too many subplots simultaneously.
The show's take on love and relationships will be cherished by me for a long long time. What a beautifully flawed yet lovable family that was.
And, kavya-Rizwaan bond will be my favourite for a long long time. I've never seen such a beautifully sketched father daughter relationship and dynamics as I've witnessed here.

Iqbal and Mona are top class performers and it has been a visual treat to watch them both perform so diligently for a show that was meant to win hearts.
Way to go PKHJD! <3
