Over the past few episodes I have been feeling like they're really missing the mark with their comic relief timing. This is a great serial that has all the elements. drama suspense romance intrigue and comedy. but the crass kantabai humor is just a drag. neat and the kids are good, neeti and kuku are good, ishaan and preet's awkward romcom is good. do we really need yet another comedy track? frankly i would rather watch trisha and bilal's story move ahead and add more romantic drama angle or even the family dynamics they were focused on initially. otherwise it feels like 30mins of comedy followed by 15 mins of the actual SL moving along.
what do you guys think? sound off!

yes true ...sometime 2 much of comedy is like poison 😆 its irritating ... hope they stop repeating that same maa ka laadla line 🥱 bt its 1 hour show ...so they r balancing it may b 😃

n for Balaji more romantic angle drama means ...Pati patni aur woh n WOH being permanent vamp in the show 😆 eating more screen space 🥱 n then time leap ..separated couples n WOH still being fevicol with hero 😆

A big thank you for saying this clear and loud dear. Yes the comic scenes are repetitive and most of the time not inducing any laugh, rather creates a feeling of annoyance. Pustie is a great actor and I love her for the portrayal of Neeti. But her scenes are needed to be fresh , otherwise I am tired of her my kids are demons chant. It seems many are liking the Sid- Bebe track. But isn't that gay jokes, kantabai kind track so outdated and overused in every x,y,z shows for the longest period of time. Moreover I feel its downright rude and insensitive to show homosexuality in this childish way. But what more to expect from Ms Kapoor. I so agree with you that the concept of the show is really unique and the treatment looks nice too, but all these unnecessary comic scenes, ott ness just dilute the whole backdrop somewhere, and fails to connect with ongoing happenings in the lives of protagonists. Comic relief should be there to ease the tension, to give a nice joyful feeling rather than dissolving the main issue just to fill the time span of the show. But on the defensive side, would say as the show is of 1 hour duration, the makers need to have filler scenes and they have come up with these so called funny plots. Hope it becomes a 30 minute show, so that it will remain to the point, crisp and on the edge kind.

I don't feel so... I'm liking this side track! bebe is also getting good screen space.. I'm liking the fact that they aren't keeping anybody without much role!
Already the pace of the show is commendable! So this comedy track doesn't seem to be a draggy one which deviates the focus from the main story-line.. And one more thing, they can't show everything in one day right, this is a daily soap, the show has to go on for a few months at least..
But it should be balanced properly.. as of now it doesn't seem overdo... hope they maintain it!!
This is my opinion!

lol thats true- story of every hindi serial. i actually laugh when hero heroine 'unite' in serials. cos he's lived with the vamp for much longer than the heroine anyways. no matter how much they crib but the hero's most long term relationship is always with the vamp. 😆 but seriously, I'm sure they're gonna use bilal to some greater plot twist soon and how are we suppose to give an emotional response about that if I'm not attached to him and trisha? that story is getting seriously underdeveloped. it needs to pick up. and even the whole sibling rivalry between trisha and ishan or even the concentration on how ishan is a good family man past the initial epis would've been good fillers. one scene with the annoying ma da ladla is MORE than enough.

Thanks a lot for bringing this up. I also find this particular Beeji track totally irrelevant to the story line of this show...
And yes I too want to see Trisha-Bilal track move ahead...

I agree that some scenes can be cut out but like someone mentioned because it's a 1 hr episode and they cannot have the leads in every frame they need some screen space for other actors. But why not explore Badi Mammi and bade pappa track. Their struggle, how they see their kids, office track, Bilal and trisha track etc.

The track of Neeti with her kids track is getting repetitive. Hopefully once they move to the 30 mins slot, some of these scenes will be cut and more focus is on the story.

your very welcome my dear. i personally think these kantabai tracks are silly at best. they're not funny. it was a riot in kal ho na ho but that was all shahrukh and saif's spot on chemistry and 10 minute screen space in a 2.5 hour movie. firstly sid and honey are NOT srk and sak, secondly the humor is only funny in the original and kitsch and outdated due to over-replication and lastly if i have to sit through 15mins of the hour watching this same repetitive scenes play out, I'm going to change my channel. this serial competes with two top 5 shows in its time slots, i hate all of them, but ppl seem to love those awful shows. so if they're going to be repetitive and silly, it wont retain viewers. the same goes for neeti kuku's fat joke track and her monster sons track (like come on! i have 3 sons and yes they're horrible but you know whats worse? watching someone crib about their awful kids for more than 3-5 mins in an hour). see my problem is not in the comedy. show it for like 5 minute per track per episode which makes 15 mins and then move on to other stuff! they have material- bade papa seems to be gone making a 5 sec appearance per episode, i would be ok with more preet solves all problems in family, ishaan and family, ishaan-kavya (i feel like they've gotten too streamlined presenting ishaan as preet's husband a little too much since his truth came out- he's also bade papa's son, the company's VP and most importantly kavya's father...all of that also present a barrier to him becoming rizwan completely and i think its worth the explore) and then theres trisha-bilal, like this is a finite series of about 40 eps i think? and id rather see all the angles being explored reasonably than have precious time and footage wasted on kantaben and neeti's bacche jokes.

It felt 3/4 of the 1 he show today was comic relief. Not needed. I don't care for comic tracks and when dealing with a serious topics it is silly to just put it there. Doesn't really do anything for the storyline.
