If Disha wanted a change in her character, there were many ways to change Pankuri. Why not show her having the same accident that supposedly killed her, and have her lose her memory, so she has to re-learn her whole life? Or due to the head injury sustained in the fall, she could have had a personality change?? So they could have shown the family trying to cope with the new Pankuri? She herself could have become more independent and gone back to the old Pankuri who wanted to be a great architect?? After all she came to Mumbai for an internship? The same thing Ayesha wants now, once upon a time, Pankuri wanted as well! Before Nanu made her take on his family!!
SO much that could have been done with Pankuri. Killing her and introducing a look alike was not necessary. But there is a level of suspense in this story line, and so far it has been handled quite well. That much I will give them! The part of Harish wanting to use Ayesha to convince Adi that Pankuri is dead?... I can see where he is coming from and there is merit in that idea. After all, something has to be done to make Adi move on!! The whole family is totally frustrated with his belief in finding Pankuri alive. Even HER family thinks he should give up! I understand how Harish must feel watching his once lively and logical son, now spending all his days and nights perusing a pipe dream! Even Rubel is suffering coz Adi refuses to come home! THAT part of the storyline in very well done!!
