Aditya Kumar stole the show today completely. The way he openly accepted Sheila's request to make Rubal the MD of the company and he all took it with a smile but inside he was crying, in pain but didn't want to hurt his family. Aditya has changed completely since the starting days of PKDH. Before he was practical but now he has an emotional side.
The way he told Rubal that he will be able to take care of his responsibilities, making sure he was attending all the guests and living up to the MD name. The pain in his eyes and the way he walked away from his responsibilities thinking he doesn't have the right anymore. Sheila was so heartless she didn't even take a slight consideration about how hurt Adi was when he took that decision. She is a mother but not in the true sense. She doesn't deserve to be called a mother. Pankhuri does sense trouble but she is waiting for the right moment I feel. The way he tucked her into bed and kissed her forehead through that he was feeling the love and support of Pankhuri which he is going to eagerly need in the near future.
Most of all I loved the conversation between Adi and Harish. It was superbly done and I am glad Harish reacted the way he did. He too is concerned about his child but Adi was adamant with his decision. The way they hugged and Harish said that he has grown up completely and this decision would be impossible for some people. It truly touched my heart. Then came breakfast and he disappeared just so he wouldn't have to see anyone. Made an excuse of work and rushed to his room but inside he was tearing apart slowly. The pain he is suffering cant be described in words.
So it looks like Adi is going to treat Rubal like a servant and show attitude and ego and I am sure this is why Avantika will slap him and give Rubal the seat. Just what he wanted. What made me cry the most was when Sheila asked him to give Rubal the seat he said is that all. I would do anything for my brother. That point I felt the child in him. The innocence and pain in his eyes was so beautifully expressed.
Today I witnessed so many forms of Aditya Kumar- the devoted son, giving brother and the child within Adi that was lost somewhere for a long time but returned today. He needed a shoulder to cry on but he didn't know where to turn and who to go to. But finally he turned to look at Nanu's photo he was his sole protector I feel and his guru. Today I realised why I loved Adi's character so much. Nakuul has done a fantastic job today and I really hope people praise him on Twitter. He was outstanding one of his best performances in the show.
