Chapter 2
Piya was in her room trying to make up a conversation with Jeh, to tell him that she does not have any feelings for him and she still treats him only as a nice friend but not more than that. She wished she could talk about all this to some one. Panchi, Misha, her father , every one seems to push her towards Jeh and they wanted to believe that she has really moved on. Her father always disliked the Raichands a lot and now he believes that they are vampires and is all set to expose them some how. Kabir, though a good friend of hers, never liked Abhay and now due to Abhay's public confession, everyone believed that Abhay is truly in love with Alina. Abhay was always there whenever she felt lonely. But now even he is not picking her calls. All this was driving her to madness and she knew if at all there was any one who would understand her, it was Haseena Raichand. Piya decided to meet her and talk to her.
Meanwhile Misha had reached college and Kabir came running to her
Kabir -"Hey Misha, Where's Piya? I thought she would come with you. Is she coming to the college with Jeh"
Misha - "Well Piya said that she is not well and she won't be coming to college today. Surprisingly she did not even talk to Jeh when he called her. She asked me to talk to him instead"
Kabir - "Oh!. Is she badly ill. Then fine, let her take some rest, I will need to find someone else. But she is the best."
Misha winking at Kabir- "Wassup Thakur. Don't tell me you started feeling for her again. There is no dearth of beautiful girls in Dehradun, trust me, I will find someone nice for you"
Kabir - "Shut up Misha. I was looking for her for something else. You know, this Ms Das Gupta suddenly came up with a dance event tomorrow afternoon and conveniently gave my name as the performer. She asked me to chose a partner and start practising immediately. Now where am I go and search for a girl at such a short notice. The last person I would go to is T and she already thinks very highly of herself and the last thing I want to do is to beg her. I tried to contact Panchi for advice but she is too busy dating my brother. I thought I could depend on Piya"
Misha - "Oh! Then why don't you call her and explain this"
Kabir - "But you said she is not well"
Misha - "Well, she said that she is not well but I can say she looked more upset than ill. Perhaps she had a fight with Jeh and did not want to speak to him. You know Jeh created such a big scene when she kissed Abhay as a part of the game. This dancing stuff may cheer her a bit. So you can try your luck"
Kabir - "Thanks Champ!, I know I could depend on you"
Misha - "Anytime Thakur"
Meanwhile Piya tried calling Haseena, but there was no response. Jeh was trying to call her and she avoided his calls. She called Abhay and surprising he picked her call
Piya "Abhay, I need to talk to you"
Abhay "Not now Piya, Mom is not well and I have to be with her"
Piya "I am sorry. Can I come over there and meet her"
Abhay - "No. She is not in a position to meet anyone"
Piya " But I need to speak to you. Its urgent"
Abhay "Please Piya, I cannot talk to you about anything this moment. Trust me. Things will be fine soon"
Piya "Please just listen to me. It is about Jeh. I want to tell him right now that I don't love him. I really don't know what are your feelings for Alina except that I can see she loves you truly. And if you still say you love me, you are only going to break her heart. Atleast I don't want this to happen to Jeh. I simply cannot pretend to be his girl friend any longer. "
Abhay got panicked. The last thing he wanted was this, at the moment. Jeh had already warned Abhay that Piya would be in danger if her feelings towards him changed. Abhay could never afford to take this risk. At this time, he could only focus on getting the potion and taking Alina's help to make it work.
Abhay "No Piya No. Please don't tell him anything now. This is not the right moment. It only would prove dangerous to you and I cannot let that happen. Trust me. Please don't tell him anything now"
Piya "What the hell. You told me once to cut off my relations with him. Later you told me to be indifferent with him and this he had assumed as my consent to a serious relationship. I just don't want this any more. I am going to tell him right now"
Abhay, in his panic state spoke in a rather angry tone "Why don't you just listen to what I say. This is not the right time and anything you do otherwise is only going to be dangerous". He was getting a call wait from Alina. He was to pick her up on their date and she was waiting.
Piya "What danger Abhay. Can't you be more clear. Why do you always scare me like this. I really need to know and I am ready to face any consequence."
Abhay "You are not telling anything to him now and thats it. You will have to trust me on this. Please don't do anything now which will make both of us repent later. Thats all I can tell for now and I really need to go. Please Piya. Give me some time and I will make things fine soon". Saying this he disconnected the call.
If she had any sanity left, she felt she had lost it all. She did not know if she had to cry out loud or just be calm. She wanted two things to be done - one to tell everything to Jeh and the other to meet Haseena for her answers. Now she is back to square one not being able to do anything. She just wanted to break something in frustration when she received a call from Kabir. He told her about the dance and asked her if she would be able to join him. She thanked him mentally for this as this would be a good diversion, else she was simply going crazy. She quickly dressed up and left for college.
Jeh was frustrated when Abhay came and took Alina on their date. He could not say anything except for wishing them a nice day. He did not want Alina to be alone with Abhay and wanted to keep an eye on her. He got the details of the places they were visiting and wanted to take Piya along so that he can keep an eye on them. Piya was not picking his calls. Misha told him in the morning that Piya was not well and preferred to take rest. He decided to visit her personally.
He knocked at the Dobriyal house and Madhu answered.
Jeh "Hi Aunty. Misha told Piya was not well, So I thought I would inquire on her health. How is she feeling now. Can I see her?"
Madhu "What Piya is not well. She did not tell me anything. And she left for college a while ago saying she had something important to do. Anyway why don't you come in"
Jeh was enraged at this. However he did not show his feelings and politely replied "No Aunty, I think I will meet her at the college. I will take your leave now"
He was furious with her. Why was she avoiding him now. She made Misha answer when he called her to ask for a date. She did not pick his calls after that. Misha told him that she was unwell and wanted to take rest and now she is off to college. Does she already know about him? Could it be that Abhay told her everything? Does she know about Abhay? It was apparent from her face that she still had feelings for Abhay. It was more than a game, when she kissed him in front of everyone. It was like she was waiting for this opportunity. Didn't she look shattered when Abhay confessed about his love for Alina publicly. She never told that she loved him, but she never denied or stopped him when he was doing all the lovey dovey talk. So Piya Dobrial is cheating on him. She should not have dared to this and he was not going to let her off like this. He will teach her a lesson that she will not dare to look at any other man let alone Abhay.
Friends, with this I end this chapter. I know I am doing a rubbish work. I am really not sure how to take this further. Earlier, I was blaming the CVs for not giving us a proper track. But now I feel that I am no one to blame them . Please do let me know if I should continue because I really need to think before I update the next chapter.
