i have already said sorry for late comment😳...i m very busy these days n hardly get any time for coming on IF n pkyek forum...so some times i only hit like button n dont comment on FFs...n sometimes that like button also dont work so i just read the update...but that dosent mean that i dont like reading FFs here...so plz dont do this n continue this ff.

Part 5

Dobriyal House

It was midnight and Piya could not get to sleep. She kept thinking about Abhay and his rude behaviour. She got up and opened her window. A cold breeze touched her skin and she closed her eyes. When she opened them and looked out she saw a group of hooded people stood outside her house in the dark. Shocked and fearful, she blinked and they disappeared. Piya thought it was her imagination and shut the window but she felt quite uncomfortable. She went out in the quiet and dimly lit hallway and headed towards Misha's room. She entered the dark room and instantly gasped in shock when she saw a face with fangs covered in blood, a vampire. Misha quickly got up and switched the lights on. It was then that Piya realised it was the picture of a vampire on Misha's laptop.

"Piya are you OK?" Misha asked her whilst handing her a glass of water.

Piya drank the water and asked annoyed, "Misha, why are you looking at these pictures at night?"

"I was just doing some research," Misha replied slowly.

Piya sat down, "At this time?"

"I couldn't get to sleep and remembered my discussion with Kabir from the party on ancient creatures."

"Is that what you and Kabir talk about when you're together?" Piya asked in disbelief. "And what did Kabir tell you?"

"He didn't tell me anything directly but I could tell he believes in the supernatural. I think he has witnessed something sinister," Misha said seriously.

"Misha, you're thinking too much," Piya said and laughed.

Misha laughed a little and decided to change the topic, "Did you meet Abhay Raichand?"

Piya crumpled her face in disgust, "Don't say his name in front of me."

"What has he done to you?" Misha asked in surprise.

"He has not done anything to me," Piya said sternly indicating to end the discussion on Abhay.

But Misha did not understand and asked her amused, "Is that why you're upset that he didn't do anything to you?"

"I didn't mean that!" Piya said loudly. "He's such a rude and arrogant person and he was giving me angry looks in the party for no reason. He spoiled my mood, I just hate him."

"He is quite strange, I saw him standing alone in a corner all of the time like a stone."

"Let's talk about something else."

After chatting for hours, both sisters fell asleep.

The Jungle

Abhay was running fast through the trees with his vampire speed. He stopped abruptly at a point and knelt down. Being a vampire, he was supposed to hold no emotions but still the human part of him which he refused to accept was full of pain and anger. He had spent a few moments with Piya and since then she had occupied his thoughts. He feared to get trapped by that beautiful face again. She had awaken all these humanly emotions inside him, which he hated because he was not human. He was a vampire and he wanted to be one in true sense. He thought he had become a stone but she was proving him wrong. He hated weaknesses and now he could see some in himself just because of her. He wanted to punish her for doing this to him. He knew she was at no fault but her being Maithali's lookalike was a big crime in itself. He suffered because of Maithali and ended up with this dark life. Now what was Piyali going to do to him?

"I hate you Piyali!" Abhay shouted. "I will destroy you before you destroy me."

Dobriyal House

The following day, Madhu and Arnab were busy discussing the arrangements for Misha's engagement in the hall. Madhu was enthusiastically talking about everything whilst Arnab watched her smiling.

"I want everything best for Misha," Madhu said happily.

"Misha and Piya are so lucky to have a mother like you," Arnab told her.

"No Arnab, I am lucky to have such lovely daughters. I want to do everything for them just like Sugandh would have done if she was alive. I just hope I am able to."

"Madhu you have done a lot for them. You brought them up like their own mother."

Misha and Piya who had been listening silently came and sat with Madhu.

"Mom, I know if Sugandh mom was here even she wouldn't do all this for us," Misha assured her.

"We love you mom," Piya said and she and Misha hugged her.

After a while, Madhu spoke up, "Oh I forgot to tell you all something. My friend's son has come from abroad after years and he's in Delhi right now. He's coming to Dehradun today to settle here. He doesn't have any relatives here so I thought we should go and receive him."

"That's a good thought Madhu but I have a very important meeting," Arnab said seriously. "It's OK, I'll postpone it."

"No Arnab, don't postpone you're meeting. I'll arrange someone else to go."

"Madhu I'll manage-"

"Work comes first Arnab," Madhu said sternly. "I need to take Misha to the jewellers. Piya are you free this evening?"

"Yes mom," Piya answered.

"OK then can you go and receive him?" Madhu requested.

"Of course mom," Piya said instantly. "But how will I recognise him? I have never seen him."

"I haven't either. He was a small child when his parents died and his uncle took him to America but I'll give you his name and contact number."

"What's his name?" Piya asked.

"Siddharth. Siddharth Mehra."

This part ends here.
