REUNION

The announcer announced the closure of the grand event with that song which mesmerised the entire Dehradun audience.

Alina shouted "What a song yaar . What a melodious voice she has. How lucky that guy is for whom she sang it. Am i right Abhay?"

Hearing no response from Abhay she turn her head to look at him but he seemed lost somewhere in his own world. Even Pia noticed it and could not control herself from reacting to his astonished face. She tapped on his shoulder

"Abhay what happened, you look tense"

Abhay snaps out of his trauma "No, umm Pia I m fine completely ok" he said stammering slightly

"Woah even Abhay Raichand has the capacity to portray a different set of emotion on his beautiful expressionless face" Jai says sarcastically getting annoyed because of the affection and worry Pia is showering on Abhay

"Jai, you also find Abhay beautiful. I never knew that u have a secret crush on him" Misha says mocking Jai. Jai eyes her furiously and everyone else laughed including Pia. " Sure everyone adores u Abhay. I can't blame them. U r sure the most desirable man on this planet. It should be against law to be this good looking. But I m not complaining becoz this super gorgeous and kind man is mine, only mine" Pia thought proudly

Misha continued " How many years r u all planning to keep on standing here. I suppose its time to barge in and hang around Miss beautiful voice. I ought to admit that she sang really well like she was actually repenting with all her heart for leaving the one she loved"

Everyone looked at Misha like she has grown two heads. Panchi finally broke the ice "Misha are u ok. Are u seriously complimenting someone?"

Misha narrowed her eyes and snapped "Shut up birdie. Now lets fly and visit the backstage to see her. I also want the autographs of the band members". Everyone decided not to argue with Misha further and moved on to backstage where they could see a large number of people and media persons waiting to get photographs and interview of the band members especially of that beautiful girl who has taken away everyone's breath. The Mount college students have been waiting for half an hour. Everyone was getting restless and Abhay's condition was worse. He still could not gulp the fact that Katherine ,his Katherine is back "May be she is just a look alike of Katherine. But then why would she ask for forgiveness from me or is that girl talking about someone else. Oh god this is so confusing. Please help me." He said the last two words loud enough for everyone else over there to hear it.

Alina got all worried over this strange behaviour of Abhay "Are u ok Abhay"

Pia also asked hastily "Are u alright Abhay. Do u need something. U seem to have got transported in some other world since the closure of the concert"

Abhay managed to reply somehow "Don't worry Pia I'm pretty much fine. Just a little bit tired. I will be ok once I will take some rest'"

But Pia was not buying it. She knew that something is bothering Abhay as hell. She has never seen him so much confused before "Why don't u go to ur home and take some sort of rest. Anyways this is taking so much time so may be we all should also get going"

"No" Abhay shouted immediately surprising all of his friends and "enemies" who were gathered around him "..I mean ermm lets wait for some more time . She must be coming in a while" there is no way he will going to miss the chance to meet Katherine. She has lots of answers to give to him. He is quite sure that she is the same girl who has left him years ago without any prior notice leaving him all alone in his miserable life. He wants some explanations now and there is no way he will let her go without them this time.

"Abhay back to earth man what's happening to u" Kabir asked seeing Abhay's lost expression

Before Abhay could make out some answer they got interrupted by a sweet voice coming from the front of them at a little distance "Are u all waiting for someone". Everyone's jaws dropped to the floor seeing the gorgeous girl standing in front of them. Boys could not help from checking her out. She was wearing a charcoal sequin dress barely covering her mid thighs ,having sweetheart neckline. She was a tall 5'9 girl having deep green eyes, her face features, every body part was so sharp and well defined that the group could not stop themselves from admiring this beautiful creation of god. Her long black slightly curled up hairs lying down her shoulder and some falling lazily on her cheeks making her look as seductive as possible for a girl to look. Her face was glowing immensely blinding everyone of them

Angad had his hand on his heart to stop his pounding heartbeat and Kabir's eyes and mouth were wide open gasping for breath. They knew that the girl singing there was gorgeous but seeing her from close has just left them all dazed by her beauty. The girls were frowning seeing the reaction of boys and mind it this time Misha was also included in this special gang of jealous gf's and she don't even know why she is feeling uncomfortable looking at Kabir's smitten face due to this girl. But a more surprising fact to them are the expressions on Abhay's face. Abhay was continuously staring transfixed at a point at the girl standing in front of him having a hand on her waist and smiling radiantly. Pia was beyond shocked seeing her Abhay like this. No girl in this world ever had any effect on Abhay. He was never a worshipper of physical appearance. So what is it with Katherine that had him mesmerised suddenly. She thought as a tinge of jealousy crept inside her. Abhay continued to stand there like a statue until the girl came and stood exactly in front of him at an arm length distance looking directly into his eyes

"Did u all enjoyed the concert" she asked in her general British accence to everyone around her not breaking the eye contact with Abhay

"Yeah we loved it. U r the girl who is joining mount college right" Danish tried to speak earning a glare from Panchi

" Yes I'm" she says softly looking at Abhay deeply. Everyone was surprised seeing the eye contact of Abhay and Katherine.

"Did u liked my song?. Are u getting what I mean to say?" she asked abhay in a deep seductive voice full of feelings

"ermm yeah I loved it" Abhay finally said getting out of his trance "But I actualy did't get it"

" Why? Wasn't I clear enough"

"You were always way too confusing for someone as dumb as me"

"So it means u haven't forgiven me and I have to try harder"

Everyone was more than shocked hearing the conversation of Abhay and Katherine and above that knowing that she sang for Abhay

"Do u both know each other." Alina tried to ask but could not complete her sentence as she has been shut down by a hand raised towards her by Katherine

" What do u think that u will just come back after so many years and I will forgive u like a cute little puppy who has been smitten by u. Don't u remember how much unforgiving I m" Abhay finally burst out

"I know but that doesn't apply to me or is it?" she looked at Abhay questioningly who has turned his face to the other side "Oh my goodness here me Katherine has apologized to u in front of the whole Dehradun and u Mr. attitude raichand is scowling and sending me off ,that too in front of my future friends. So bad of u Abhay. U know everything has a reason behind it right"

"Yes I know and I also know that u won't easily be telling that to me" he says finally turning towards her sensing the pain in her voice

"What makes u think that?" she ask raising her eyebrows "And for how much time u will keep on standing rooted there . Have u forgotten that way back u have been lovingly unfrozen by the love of ur life"

"U r unbelievable Katty" he says finally smiling

"For sure I m"she says softly and came forward and hugged Abhay tightly, pouring out all of her emotions pain, love, longing in that hug. Abhay also hugged her back closing his eyes to feel the moment. The group was astonished beyond the limits seeing the interaction of Abhay and Katherine. They just could not comprehend to the scenario in front of them. Pia was agitated so was Alina. Tears were flowing down Katherine's cheeks as Abhay caressed her back to soothe her "I missed u Abhay"she wispered within her tears "Yeah that's why u are hugging me so tightly sucking the life out of me"

"U big meany" she says hitting his chest and finally they separated from each other smiling whole heartedly

"U idiot, pycho. Where did u went away? I searched for u like a maniac but u just vanished in the air like some magic" he shouted leaning on to her forehead

"Magic , well that was funny. But as for the real reason u want me to discuss it here? I don't think so. So why don't u introduce me to ur friends instead?" she said finally separating from Abhay and wiping off her tears

"Yeah guys this is Katherine, my ' long lost' crazy friend" Abhay says smiling emphasizing on the words 'long lost'

"No no Abhay ,not like this, I want an individual introduction with everyone especially with ur girlfriend. Where is she? Yeah there" before Abhay could say anything she moved towards Pia and gave her a forced hug turning Alina's smile into a frown as she thought that Katherine will come towards her. "I know it Abhay i always knew that u will be able to finally get what u have always wanted. She is the girl u always used to dream about, u knew her before u even met her. She is so pretty just same as ur imagination."she said glancing back and forth from Abhay and Pia. Pia was embarrassed by her remark but in her heart she loved it. But standing in front of her friends she can't face the truth especially not like this. Abhay looked at her startled knowing exactly that Katherine has started with her antics already but could not understand how can she know all this

"Alina is Abhay's gf Katherine. U r mistaking Pia as Alina" Ruhi interrupted getting Abhay out of the misery to tell something that can probably hurt Pia.

"Really am i? but last time I checked in, u were madly and helplessly in love with Pia. What happened haan, u r not a boy who can switch his feelings to another girl so easily. As per I know u, u can only love one girl and forsake ur everything for the same" Katherine says looking at Abhay from the corner of her eyes trying to hint something

Abhay tries to change the topic which is raising everyone's suspicion and curiosity "Katty, we will discuss this later. Now go and get ur bags we r leaving for my house and I know u r dying to tell me so many things"

"No let me see meet some more people over here. Yeah that's Alina right" she scans Alina from top to bottom "Phew is she ur gf? And here I thought u always choose the best for urself. Don't worry I m here to rectify ur mistakes only"she says tilting her head towards Abhay who was shaking his head and smiling whispering to himself "U can never change Katty" and then Katherine moved to Jai "Who is he Abhay?" she asked innocently batting her eyelashes at Jai which make Jai go week on his knees

"Well he is Jai katty, one of my classmates" Abhay replied knowing fully well what she is upto.

She extended her soft milky hands towards Jai "Hey nice to meet you. By the way did u like our band's name 'wolfmother' sounds familiar isn't it?"

"Yeah?.. I erm loved it" Jai said choking wondering how much she knows about him

"By the way where is ur mother?" she asked looking at Jai and then suddenly turn towards Abhay smiling "I sort of missed her" letting Jai to catch his breath "this girl is sure something" Jai thought getting scared now because he can sense that Katherine smells neither like a human nor like any supernatural he knows.

"Ok Katherine enough pleasantries for today. I think we should leave now" he said sternly this time

"Yeah of course. I'm not staying here for eternity. Let me fix some nuts back there I mean my band members. let me say good bye to them properly and then I'll be back". She moved while Abhay shouted "Don't get drunk katty. We have a lot to talk about tonight". She turned back and take a few steps towards Abhay "Don't worry darling. I'm always at my best behaviour when I'm around u. Moreover, we have a lot to do tonight" she winked leaning forward and kissed his cheeks softly and whispered "Its gr8 to have u back"and then left leaving the whole gang especially Pia eying questioningly at Abhay.

"What? She is my friend. I told u all didn't i?" he shrugged and turn towards Alina "Alina can u manage to return with Jai tonight. I have to take Katty with me?"

"Yeah sure" Alina replied disappointed at Abhay's interest in that bitch Katherine. Something about that girl is pissing her off. She has insulted her in front of everyone and now getting all of Abhay's attention

With this all of them dispersed to head back to their homes. Pia refused to go with Jai after tonight's fiasco and accompanied Misha and Kabir to her home. She was deep in her thoughts about that new girl during their journey back to home . Somehow she is giving her positive vibes although her flirting with Abhay is a bit intolerable but still she seemed genuine. But the biggest thing which is bothering her is the comment of Katherine on Abhay being unfrozen by his beloved. How could she know this? Is she a vampire? She was analysing everything about her when Misha's voice brought her out in reality "Hey Pia what is it with u and Jai are u guys still fighting?"

"Misha I m just not comfortable with him anymore. He is pissing me off these days and I m reconsidering our relationship" Pia replied softly

"But Pia.."

"Misha I don't want to talk about it please"

"Ok Ok forget it u know Pia and Kabir ,Abhay is not that bad as we think him to be. It was so sweet of him to get autographs of the band for all of us with the help of his friend" says Misha smiling looking again and again at those autographs

" Yeah Misha of couse Abhay is very sweet especially with girls. Isn't it Pia" Kabir asked sarcastically looking at Pia through the side mirror of the car as Pia was sitting on the back seat

"Yeah Yeah he is" says Pia confused of the sudden change in Kabir's behaviour

" Did u guys noticed , Abhay has such deep dimples. It was the first time we saw him smiling that's how this secret came out. No wonder girls go crazy about him"

Kabir looked at Misha completely stunned and asked frowning "Misha u also fancy Abhay"

"Shut up dumb ass. I'm just stating a fact. U have seen how all the girls of Dehradun are mad about him and now someone from Australia is after him. I wonder who is she that is capable of bringing a smile on that miserable Raichand's face" Misha asked Kabir

"Yeah even I'm wondering the same. I thought there is only one girl who can make him ecstatic" he glances at Pia and then continues "Pia did Abhay told u anything about her?"

" Why would he tell me"

"Why wouldn't he?" Kabir asked raising his eyebrows. Pia felt something fishy in the way kabir is behaving lately so decide to leave the topic there only. The rest of the ride was silent which finally lead to Misha to go in her dreamland and fall asleep. Kabir finally stopped his car in front of the Dobrial mansion and tried to woke Misha up but in vain. Even Pia was unable to get her out of her deep slumber. So Kabir took Misha in his arms and carry her all through to her bedroom and tucked her inside the covers , glancing lovingly at an innocent Misha unaware of his deep feelings for her and left the room with Pia. They both came out to the living room. The house was empty as Panchi and Danish have decided to go on a dinner date after the concert and surely Panchi won't return before 2:00 a.m. Mr and Mrs. Dobrial are also off to attend a business party.

"Thanks for dropping us off Kabir"

"Don't be stupid Pia. We r friends remember and neither should friends thank each other nor they should hide anything from each other"

"What do u mean Kabir?" Pia asked confused

"Well I don't think it's a good time to talk about all this. You and even I myself is very tired. So do u mind meeting me at our favourite coffee shop before college tomorrow" Kabir asked calmly

"Kabir what do u want to talk about? Is it about Misha?"Pia asked thinking that Kabir might need her help in winning over Misha

Kabir take deep breath and replied "Well Pia I want to talk about u and Abhay. I hope u get what I wanted to say?"

"But Kabir..."

"Please Pia ,come over there tomorrow and I want honest answers. Bye and have sweet dreams" With this Kabir kissed her forehead and left the house leaving Pia all alone to wonder about how much he knows "Now Kabir also as in I already don't have enough problems. First Alina's interest in Abhay then Jai's obsession for me and Now this Katherine. Who the hell is she to be all over Abhay that too in front of everyone of us. Oh god Abhay when r these girls going to leave u" she murmured to herself gritting her teeth and went to her room to get some sleep praying that tomorrow's day will be hopefully better with some less confusions

Meanwhile in Abhay's car

"I still can't believe you are actually sitting in front of me" Abhay said excitedly

"So who do u think I m"

"May be a look alike of the most amazing person I have ever met"

"Haven't u seen enough dopplegangers in ur life to consider me as one of them? By the way u were the one who used to tell me that there's nobody like me. So now why this sudden change in opinion?" Katherine asked showing fake anger

"Now u r trying to start a fight but look I'm not interested right now. I m only interested in knowing one thing where the hell were u all these years. I searched for u everywhere I could. U even broke our connection so that I can't reach u. Why Katherine ? Why did u do that? U know what, I turned so miserable after that. If it was not for Pia I would have been the same till now. She has to fight a lot for our love. If u would have been there things would have been much easier. U know how worried I was thinking that something might have happened to u" Abhay asked angrily

"Please calm down Abhay. Look I know what I did was incredibly stupid but I had no other option. I didn't want u to get into any sort of trouble because of me and knowing u exactly too well, I don't think that if I had told u that some big supernatural elements were after my life, u would have allowed me to leave. I didn't wanted to endanger ur life for my sake"

"I don't have any life Katty for god's sake I m a living dead. I could have helped u damn it. Who were they?" Abhay shouted furiously

"Well trust me Abhay u don't want to know now. Besides now the problem is solved that's why I'm back. I missed u a lot" she said looking lovingly at him with some drops of tears glistering in her eyes

"No way Katty no emotional drama please as in Pia is not enough that u r also continuing with this filmy rona dhona. Besides all these tears and emotions don't suit u. U r good all feisty, ready to knock out everyone with ur sarcasm and beauty"

"Now finally got to the point, Pia. Seriously u have a gr8 choice. She is such a sweet and a kind hearted girl. But the best thing about her is that she love u a lot and I m sure she always will. I m so happy for u. I was always worried that u might have to live the eternity all alone but finally someone is there to knock some sense inside that pretty head of urs and make u her slave for life"

Abhay chuckled and then realised something "How did u know about Pia, Jai and all. We were not in contact since five years. Then how did u..?" he looked at her who was smirking at him and smiling wickedly "No u didn't Katty. U probed into my mind, my thoughts, my memories. How could u..?" he shouted furiously

"Chill Abhay. It's not like u have something to hide from me. Try reminding urself that we r blood related. What do u think ,I will come without doing my homework.? And here I thought u know me." She said pouting

" Katty u should know that no one can understand u even if he has stayed with u for almost 145 years. It's bad to peek into someone's privacy" Abhay said mocking her

"What privacy haan. U have nothing to be called private. U r such a bore. U don't even have wild thoughts for ur Pia. Thank god I never dated u"

"Shut up Katty" Abhay looked in front turning pink. Katherine just smiled looking at him feeling happy at his improved life "I will go to any extent to keep this smile on ur face forever" she thought determined
