Anyhow, I do agree with you and I can vouch for majority ViSu fans that what we want is interview of the two as lead actors of the show and nothing more. I've said time and again that I'm not too crazy a fan of ViSu off-screen but somewhere, they do bring AbhIya to life and make them believable. Off-screen, I don't know and I don't care even if they're out to kill each other but on-screen, they're magic and in the interviews, we want a certain of their insights into the shows and characters as costars, not off screen relations with each other as friends and buddies. I will not name, but an extremely popular show on an even more popular channel has leads who do not get along well but they tend to give joint interviews. These don't let fans bother much about what they actually feel off screen about each other. Here, we don't get ViSu interviews so even if they are the best of buddies in real life, we really don't care.
As far as personal life is concerned, I still say the actors are the first ones who should respect their own privacy. And overdose of any of the celebs is unacceptable to people who're neutral towards them. I happen to be a huge fan of a certain couple, again, name not important and I thank my stars that they get a lot of media coverage. Good for me. But then I can't bring myself to blame people who wait for their favourites to be interviewed when they get frustrated that this particular couple is covered so often.
Point being, everyone's not practical but everyone's not foolish either. Most people can differentiate between real and reel life and they're very clear that what they want to see in interviews is the reel life of actors and not the real. I don't know how far I'm making sense because I'm not being able to find the right words to express what I actually feel so I guess I'll just wind up by saying that the actors, themselves, should realise that they're different on screen and off screen and what fans like and the reason why they're fans is because what they are on screen. Too much dose of what the actors are off screen will make them lose fans because like I said, fans are based on what is seen on screen. The tag 'Celebrity' comes with a lot of responsibility which need to be fulfilled if the 'celebrity' wants to remain a 'star'.

Thanks for the post. It was much needed =)

Well said. In fact your quote said it all in a better manner than I did. The actors should keep their personal lives seperate and spare we fans from tolerating their personal affairs on screen when we look forward to seing our on screen stars creating that magic in their interviews as well.

Thank you. Yes, you got my point correct. We, as fans, are happy when the actors are happy in their personal lives but then, just 'knowing' that they're happy is enough. 'Showing' isn't important. Truthfully, I'm not all that against actors talking about their personal lives either but then it's a matter of priority and we can clearly see what's getting the priority here 🤔
And I think I should get out of here now. Wow!! This is the third topic I've entered in two days discussing on-screen v/s off-screen. I need a break 😆

@Hema: You always manage to lift my mood. Love youu 🤗

We sometimes go overboard in doing it however, I would like to also point out that all the comments which are made about Vivian and Vahbiz or for the matter of fact any artist has nothing to do with what they do in their personal life and I don't think any one is questioning it also. But the major cause of concern is Vivian is loosing his individuality and his unique charm by not coming in all his interviews and interactions alone. He always has Vahbiz with him and hence he is not as he used to be all witty and charm, while rest of the actors are all shown having fun as a team and with each other. No one mixes business with personal life. Everyone is going around but they don't bring it to work. Vivian's fan like Vivian for his performance as Abhay and they should not be forced to like Vahbiz also. It's every body's individual liking and disliking.

I am an HR Expert and such kind of "Public Display of Affections" at work by Two colleagues is also not appreciated in a normal work scenario as it becomes a big time distraction for other colleagues. There are companies who have rules to not allow couples working together and here we are discussing public figures. Vivian has way to go and he should realise that he cannot afford to compromise his new found success as he has a great future ahead. I am happy to see that as he and Sukku look so comfortable in the romantic scenes that they do but to some extent it might effect later. Even in Pratigya the main protagonist is dating the sister of Pratigya and Adarsh is dating his mother in real life. No body points out what they are doing cos they keep it to their homes.
My purpose of writing this was not to hurt any one but to just bring out my professional approach. I am new to this forum and an ardant fan of PKYEK and I really appreciate everyone's work. This is one of the serials that I follow without fail and I look forward to seing my favourite stars having fun on sets. My apologies if I have hurt anyone's sentiments. Since it's an open forum I thought I should share my views.😆

Thank you for being honest , blunt and to-the-point. Vivian-Vahbizz have somehow ended up not only using the media in a pushy manner to make people accept them together but also have portrayed their relationship in a very teenybopper wannabe cute way. Its immature and its unreasonable of both them as a pair and media to try and push their relationship down the throats of fans. Not done. You love each-other , then, keep it behind closed doors or at least , don't be so glaring all the time in the face. This is not how a celebrity is supposed to conduct himself/herself in public. But then, Vivian is not a child and whatever he is doing , is his choice.

Thank you so much for putting in your valuable input, Chillz,👏 I see where you are coming from and I totally agree with you. Yeah, Vivian and Sukirti's personal lives ,may not matter to fans but fans want to at least see their interviews as professionals. There is nothing unreasonable in that and as a fan , its an unsaid right as well. Its just a fandom demand and not prying into their personal lives.

Your last lines sum it up well and they should be engraved outside all the make up rooms of all PKYEK artists at least. The actors need to understand that they cannot make a spectacle of their personal life and not expect the fandom not to react or comment. They cannot take advantage of the fandom to make anything and everything they do acceptable and above all, they cannot force the fandom to whistle at any and every kind of behaviour they display. Fine , they respect your decisions but you cannot force them to accept their decisions by rubbing it in their faces. Vivian and Vahbizz appeared cute and sheepish when they had gotten together but this paparazzi like media coverage and plain absurd affection display ( which is the case with many other telly couples ) makes them not only divert the limelight from the show but also takes away a certain respect and privacy that a man-woman relationship is supposed to have.

Thanks sweetie. Don't be upset. Fandom is emotional, impulsive and judgy. Happens. Actors make mistakes , fans make mistakes - and we just find a common bridge sooner or later.😃
