Hi..I am not a very active member of this forum b'coz I just come to watch the episode online and spoilers if any. Ur post is really true that we want our fav actors to be larger than life in real life also and are disappoinedt if they donot meet our expectations. it reminds me of an incident i read long time back. Arun Govil (Ram of Old Ramayan) was smoking in public and one old lady came and slapped him real hard and scolded as how he(ram) can behave like this. For her the person and character were same thing.

It's really important that we differentiate the character from the actors playing the role. Just enjoy their performance onscreen and leave their private life their own affair.😊

When I started watching this show i developed a crush on... Abhay or Vivian ???? yea you guessed it right...I never had this kind of liking for any fim, nonetheless TV actors..that was very unlikely for me...and then I asked myself...am I falling for the actor or the character??? and the answer lied in the questions itself...It was the character...(in a way I was very relieved because it is very unlikely for me to have a crush on a "star"...eewww thats just so eeww!!!!

We fall in love with the characters and the shows probabaly because they show us a world which is perfect, where everything falls in place after some struggle, where there is a "happily ever after" and most importantly it is so different from our mundane, routine, not so eventful life wherein we have to catch a train every morning at the same time and do the same job for 8 hrs. But as you said...its REAL...The characters, besides their good looks, show us an image which is so perfect, something that does not exist in reality...and even their "real"public appearances and imterviews are again an image they create for the public...that is again not their trueself...that is the image they want people to have about them...I wonder sometimes when their "image" self stops and real self begins...

anyways..long story short...your are real and your posts are as real as you...

Thank you so much, Viddz. Your analysis of the psychological reaction is true. As for the actors , all I can tell you is that I have seen how they miss what they lose in the glitter and the flashlights. They forget that all this is make- believe and this stardom fleeting. 😊

Character is was will alway be the Base on the Term that we Fell In luv with.. it was never the Actor.. though it does not mean that we don't adore actors..WE DO ..!! but it's only bcoz of the Role they easy very well..!!

Thanks Poco - you said it well. And I totally agree with you.

Even when I watch tv or the show, the actors and their personal lives doesn't matter to me. So, I can very easily dtach myself from the actors and characters. Infact when I come to the Forum, I get confused about how some of us can actually get so emotional about the different things attached to the show. But other times, I will become part of those discussions because those discussions influence me more than the actual show. 😆

I think thodi si daant (reality check) ham sabko chahiye thi. 😆

Yes, Everyone should be able to understand that actors are not the Hero onscreen. expecting honesty and strenght as the character is not really rational. But guess its also a good thing that they connect so strongly to the charcater as per a creatives succes.

However the main issue going on is not to diffrentiate between real and reel, its a displeasure expressed by fans demanding ,creatives and actors to actually stick and focus on the characters and the 'reel' thats as u say what is related to the fans and give the audience the same in media coverage. As i can see the average PKYEK fans are sensible and accpeted the offscreen with respect and simply where indifferent until the 'real' itself started insisting on taking the front seat in attention and rising questions. And thats the issue thats rising dicussions. the issue is Not beeing dillusional or irrational going insane to not belive the real or that the actors are not the actuall characters. thats hasnt been the matter here.

And as far as some dears dont decide to find human rights and because of that give reason to arguments and uneeded discussions in fans mature displeasure,I for one see no harm in fans expressing their displeasure regarding reducment of focus on onscreen story for the news as before. If we recall the old times, there was no discussions, dillusions or requirments of pressuring the onscreen to the offscreen, fans where just amazed by onscreen and happy with the little but comming news coverage on the same that came along having their 'real' side of beeing actors respected.

Its is ofcourse sad and unbelivably sad that fans would for a matter alike go against eachother, as u say for a 15 mins show everyday that shall be more of a relaxing entartainment.

But as far as demands go in connection the the characters and onscreen of the actors i see no problem there, and with respect reserved aside it its actually a succsseful side for the creatives and actors , showing they have been rightfull nd great with their work:) And i would just wish for fans with different views to try to understand eachother rather than eat up eachother for disagreement,lol
