Hello guys....im Sayali. This is gonna be my ver first post here. Hope i'll get rocking replies to this!
Im actually quite surprised that no topics are made on this...but i wanna ask though:
Is the "Mount College", an actual College or a HIGH SCHOOL IN DISGUISE????
Everything thats shown in here...from the classes to the students to the way they talk, joke and laugh AND the way the fall in "love", it looks like Ekta is copying Twilight word-to-word as far as the Educational institute of Edward-Bella is concerned....Lol looks like she has literally forgotten that its supposed to be a college with mature adults, and not a 9th grade class with fifteen-year olds.
The way people talk and behave, especially the character of "T" or Tanushree, is soo immature and juvenile. From trying to bag new "boyfriends" to brag crudely about her looks and clothes, she's the typical "Popular bitch of the Ninth class". And Kabir and Abhay, they way they like making girls their "girlfirends" just because its "convenient". Adults dont behave this way, teenagers do.
Also, the way people go about making "girlfriends" and "boyfriends" with random people, like they are some props to show off your cool quotient. For example , take Kabir. He has known Piya for less than a month, he's even talked to her a countable number of times (10 or 12), and he's in LOVE with her??????? Are you for real or are you a joke? You dont fall in love so soon.😕
Love is a deep, mature relationship between two people who have known each other for a long time. Being in love, as we get to see in routine soaps too, is about Depth, commitment, compatibility and the Most Important -FRIENDSHIP. You fall in love with someone who you know as a close friend, someone with whom you share an emotional attachment.
But over here, in this show, we do not see the traces of anything called a "serious, mature, relationship" that adults have. (except for Danish and Panchi).😳

Especially the way people like T go about asking people to be their "boyfriends", like it was in high-school where hormonal immature teenagers need a "Boyfriend" or a "girlfriend" to be "cool" among their peers. Same for Kabir....LOLOLOL he's got a crush on Pia and he drunkenly delcares his "lubbe" for her at a party, 70's love-at-first-sight Ishtyle. And piya too smartly tells him that "I'll be your girlfriend", like "i'll be your class monitor" or "i'll be your lab partner". Man, these guys live in outer space i tell ya -even a 16 year old nowadays knows the difference between a crush and a serious love.😆
And last but NOT THE LEAST -the "relationship" that Abhay-Pia share. Can someone exactly tell me what EXACTLY it is????? So far what we go to watch, Abhay shares a love-hate attraction to Piya's face for some chick he knew 100 years ago, and Piya too for some reason (why????😕) is attracted to him, like an iron bar to a magnet. Now the question is : WHAT EXACTLY (again) is their relationship going to be like? Even leaving aside the fact that you need to be close Friends with someone to LOVE him/her, the thing is that Abhay /Pia dont even know each other well enough to have a crush on each other. They're just attracted -thats it.😲
Normally, in most shows, they show that after the initial attraction, the hero and heroine get closer to each other, become FRIENDS, and then a couple , like it should be. Here, all we see is Unbridled attraction /sexual tension / chemistry..........and the story is continuing on in those lines. What are they going to show next? That the two become a ACTUAL COUPLE just because of this attraction? Here, its just going on...abhay and piya are virtually strangers to each other, but "coming closer and closer" because they are physically attracted. So here the Million-dollar question arises:
Will PKYEK be a lust-story like Twilight (where the characters liked each other coz one sparkled and the other tasted nice), OR a proper, normal, mature love-story? IM AFRAID IT'LL BE THE FORMER WAY.🤡
So Ekta, please, put things together, make the story a more adult one. Please remember that you've decided to make this story DIFFERENT from Twilight. And "different" includes the character natures.....dont copy the teenage characteristics of Twilight characters.
Now lets hear your take on this? What do you all say?
