Ya, Zana and me sometimes, rather always, get a little carried away. We were having so much fun that we didn't realise that the TM might get offended. I hope she understands though😳

And yeah, In India COLLEGE is from 11-12th grade. We call it school if the educational center is of English medium. So the college and high school are the same. Now understood?😛

I feel, that it is you who haven't bothered to...umm...read out my post in details. There's nothing to "understand" about a television show. I dont watch it regularly at prime time, but almost always catch the repeats.😛 So i feel im correct to a great extent.😛😉

About college, as your friend too said, it is not the norm here. I dont know where you live, but in Kolkata, where ive lived all my life and still do, College starts after you have passed out your board exams. It used to be in the past, inclusion of 11th and 12th as College. It isnt anymore. Its also the case in other most normal colleges.

On this topic, its quite clear that Ive not been able to explain to all as to what im on about. Once again:

I was pointing to the over-the-top immaturity in the characters of the show, especially their ideas about love and relationships. Not to mention the special case of T, that behaves like a 15-year old Bimbo. 😆😆I hope you get the idea. You have to empathize to get the perspective.

Rest you can go over my topic again.

Well you also have to realize that "high school" or FSC in india is shorter than high school in the states for example...these 17/18 yr olds are in their first yr of college...in the states they would be in their junior/senior yr of hs...so thats how they're going to act (even if it is a bit over the top...i know how dramatic teenagers can be)...also the adult maturity you're speaking of doesn't hit females on average until the age of 24 and around the age of 26 for males...as for kabir, he does really like piya and because he's never felt this strongly about a girl he's directly assuming that its love...and trust me 'grown-ups' also chase ppl they merely 'like' as well...many adults will behave like teenagers in their growing yrs especially when they first fall in love...the almost complete maturity doesnt come until many many years down the line(and i mean like in your 40s and above)...theres no right way to fall in love...it just happens

Its true that there's no way to "fall" in love. But that was not what i was talking about. Here my perspective was upon the idea of "Love", the proper , deep thing that is based on friendship.

However, it is that girls mature faster than guys, and hence it is totally possible for even a 19-year old girl in college, to just properly recognize the "feeling" of love, after the initial hangover of school. Environment play a huge part, and as someone said here, maturity does go up exceedingly when we go inside the college. But that is not being porttrayed anywhere by the characters. They are supposed to be in the second year and still 17insh! How??? LOLOL😳

Oh, and commitment and long-term sustenance of relationships are seperate issues. I was saying that here, in this show, the terms like "Love" are way too thrown-about and in a casual way. That was where the disconnect was occurring

Err...im not sure you've to be FORTY to be in love. Thats too many wrinkles! LOL. But, actually, early 20's ( 19 age included) is the time when you can reach the stage to "Love". Even at 18 one is immature.

Nice points, by thew way. Thanks for your logical thoughts here.😃

This show is supposed to be different, and if someone fancies a usual hate-friendship-falling in love story, I am sure there are a lot of shows out there like that.

And, I guess you ain't aware, but the whole 'I want a boyfriend' generally starts in college. I am in ninth, high school - and there are no girls like T or Kabir. There is no dating contest. There is no 'i need a girlfriend/boyfriend to be cool' quotient just yet.

And.. Seriously, when you are in college, you see a person, get attracted, and the next day, you are a couple. That's how it works. And how is someone like Kabir meant to know that he is not meant to be with a person he gets attracted to ? There is no background music in life, is there? In the end, they have to break up. That's how the youth story goes - Attraction, relationship, breakup.

And if they bring the 'adult' angle in, ie.. 'friendship first, then falling in love' - then what is supposed to be the difference between other shows like MJHT, DMG and this one?

@bold: If they bring an adult angle, it will not be youthful anymore. Thats what I feel! I see enough maturity in real life. Don't need it on-screen as well *roll eyes*

TM-- i hope u didnt mind all that talk...it was all in good humor...no offence meant
Peace 😊
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
coming to the topic u r talking about a proper mature love story....well for that to come it will take time...every relations hip needs time to develop n then go next level...so Abhiya love story will start but right now its just the initail phase...first Abhay has to fight the demons of his past to move on n fall in love...
T is a bimbo cuz thats her character. if u notice Piya, Misha etc all refer to her as bimbo dumb girl cuz she behaves like one...and she is supposed to be like that she is shown to be only 17!
she is immature at 17 but believe me i know some girls like her who r 20 or 21 behaving just like that!
and i even know a girl who is a member of this forum who is only 14 but talks with so much maturity n sense...
what im trying to say that maturity doesnt necessarily come with age...some ppl become mature fast n some take their own time...it depends on ur attitude n lifestyle i guess...
Kabir is being hasty in this relationship thingy...everyone realizes that...they mentioned that in the last two epis! soon he will realize it too n move on...
as for Piya liking Abhay n their bond....its a mystery yet to be revealed!
Cheers 😊

Ummm......they are already dhowing piya falling for abhay without any formal friendship, so i guess they are really making it a High-School drama.
