Anyway age gap couples with successful marriages exist in real life too,years don't matter if what unites a couple is true and built natural,not rushed.

Whether Radha is 18 or 20 years, its her child hood crush that turned into infatuation after seeing & meeting Mohan as a grown up girl, and I always maintained same opinion the way her character got introduced & also portrayed on multiple occasions by RM team with those smitten looks she always gave Mohan, instead of devotion & respect type looks.😳

Think it was 35 (or mid 30's) that was mentioned.

No problem with age gap too if the conditions you mentioned actually happen. That doesn't seem to be the route they are taking.

Recently launched SB serial, na umr ki seema ho is conceptualized, marketed, promoted, casted and even being executed currently as Age gap couple's love story, unlike Radhamohan which was hyped as 'Iss Mohan ko Uss Mohan se milaane ki kahaani' & then promoted as one sided devotion turned love as one of its plot of the story, amongst others.

Neither channel nor producer nor actors hyped RM serial as age gap story of main leads. There's huge difference on how such age gap couple stories get marketed, promoted, written, performed & executed.🤪

Sharing part of my old post which I made in May in this forum, here below.

Age gap couple stories are not new on Indian onscreen be it in fiction TV serials or films or web shows.

If we have look at some old or recent hindi TV soaps and get to read synopsis of story lines or about man lead characters, Kasamhse, Kehta hai Dil, Kuch to Log Kehenge, Astitva, Parichay, Aapke aaja nese etc. are some popular hindi serials that were written and also promoted as AGE GAP COUPLE stories from the begining, so characterization and casting was also APPROPRIATELY done. And most of these couples were shipped onscreen with considerable fan following. btw Kasamhse, Astitva, Aapke aaja nese were Zeetv serials.

Age has LEAST to do with deep love☺️ but societal, family and individual complexities are not easy to handle in such age gap couple stories, that was the intent of content shown in above old TV serials. And chemistry was still built between lead couple through their portrayal, characterizations, styling, usage onscreen even if physically they looked odd, be it older man-young woman as a couple or older woman-young man as a couple. And it seems most often such couples were shown well educated and had some complimentary qualities, maturities, family responsibilities, career as common factors, though they may be from different backgrounds altogether.

In Mohan case are not rushing,that's the saving grace. Still in that stage where he respects her for all the times she was there for Gungun&him,saving and worrying for her comes as his way to pay the debts for those situations.

Maths (or age in this case) can keep changing,already we know shows have their own equations where 1+1=3.

Or Mohan should leave with Gungun to some far off place, where he can start working on his own and Gungun can access a good school and father/daughter can bond on their own and he can meet someone there whom he can relate to on an equal footing.

I knw this is far fetched and will not happen but still wondering about it.

R buried 😲 (D bit of promo was for promo only,in reality she only covered the tube R used to breathe)

Mohan again with 1 overdose of meri Radha 😔 (but sounds close to how would say meri Gungun if she would be in similar situation),except that loved his reactions,how he beats the goons and digs the pit to find R

Finally used his friend better,saved Mohan when a goon was behind him with 1 knife and helped him dig

Police-same guy from borewell ep-constant here,not a new officer for each incident...police vanished soon without solving the case 😆 one goon is down and the other one took the chance to run,nobody will know which madam hired them,R will forget she heard the last phone conversation and that was all

Precap for 28:Mohan doing cpr for R 😆 D face 🤣another successful plan (knew covering that tube will badly explode on her face)

Knew the cpr is upcoming when someone mentioned her pulse stopped. Can imagine 'Raadhaaa Mohannn Raaadhaaa Mohannn' playing in the bg.😆

Some saving grace though that it looked normal. (was watching without audio though).
