I know there have been a lot of discussion on this, but having seen something very similar in my life, I would say better now than after marriage. Because that would be brutal for Suhani. Like someone else said, the engagement period is a time when you get to know each other. In my opinion I don't think their love is wrong, Shashank never really loved Suhani. He fell in love for the first time with Prateeksha and that he will never get over, if he marries Suhani. It is true Suhani loves him too much to a point of obssessiveness, and I really feel bad for her. But it is better she marries someone who loves her and not marries her out of pity because she loves him. Shashank will not be able to give her the happiness whole heartedly.

sumo tried to attempt sucide not to black mail shahshank, her intention was not that. fortunately or unfortunately she couldnot die and she was exposed. she never forced him to marry- umm..did u watch the epi where shashank goes to say no to her..their parents were downstairs and he went upstairs to her room..all that stuff she's collected of him were on the bed..he starts to say no..and she BEGS and BEGS him to not do so..thats when he goes and put the ring on her that was on the bed...it was all their parents, especially shahshank's parent that too for the sake of bussiness.

do you remember when shahshank agreed for the sake of their parents not for the sake of sumo aranya was objecting...but shahshank did not listen to her.

you all say sumo's love is obsessed love...based on what?...based on her shahshank's collection she had- no..based on the fact that she tried to commit suicide over him..if you really loved a guy, you'd think of his happiness(even if its not with u!!) and not how miserable you'll be without him..!...if that was the reason what about shashak? he too had prateeksha's collection.for sumo it is obsession but for shahshank it is love...uufff.-shashank listen to and respect prateeksha..even though in the beginning, he was obsessed with wanting her, now he only wants her happiness..even if that means he's unhappy without her..sumo is still crying over the fact that shashank might leave her..

yet another reason is she is 16 years...girls... in which era you people are ? now a days 16 year girls are mature enough in fact more mature than married ladies....they are not kids. sumo is well matur...that is y she is still handling the secrect of araina...the only reason she's handling that secret is coz her parents told her to do it..do u think if she had no one to guide her along there, she'll handle it as well? remember how she broke down when she thought it was HER who was adopted. While maybe some 16 year olds are mature, you can't say that in general. They are still going through identity crisis, insecurities etc in life..definitely shown by sumo with her own insecurity and low self esteem when it comes to shashank..

i can only see cunningness and guitly on prateeksha and shahshank face. personally i like kiritika but i hate her when i see in prateeksha's character. she got a gangu thayli and greedy mangithar it is her fate, that doesn't mean that she should catch hold of her big fat boss knowing that he is the wouldbe of another girl-hahahaha..can u plz tell me when this happened?..coz as far as i remember, all she's done is run away from him!! if she really wanted to catch him, she'd have used her wiles on him long before. when ever she say to sumo that 'you are very cute ....you are the best choice to shahshank ' i feel like slapping her-hahaha.u knw i feel the same when sumo starts whining about shashank..just slap her and tell her to grow up..doesn't a MATURE (**being sarcastic here) girl like her know that what guys hate about a girl are their clingliness and insecurities..it makes them wanna run away from the girl..shashank for now might feel sorry for her b/c of her insecurities..but when he starts living with that 24/7, he'd feel suffocated and miserable...

@shumi-yaar leave alone da other thngs as hira has mentioned all da thngs&i have mentioned wht is my pov in an earlier post of my mine bt,in wht basis are u saying dat a16 yr old is mature enough2take his or her decision??U asked in wht era we are,bt sweety to undrstand dat da teen age dat means4m13to19 is a complicated phase 4any individual doesn't requre2b in any era,it's scientifically&medically proved,being a med student i know dat due2some hormonal change ppl go through some physical&mental changes whch often results in taking severe wrong decisions regarding lyf by dem.Dey need sincere&cooperative frnds&experienced guide bside dem through dis complicated period.Don't get me wrong here,i myself am a 20yrs old girl&don't consider myself as wise in every aspect of my life&den wld bow on my parents as i know dat dey are my best wishers.Incase of sumo it was totally nt da case:-))

to certain extent i can agree with you adolescence age is bit complicate,for sure it needs parental care . but for your very kind information (i have done masters in science , 22 years of study, married and i have two lovely school going kids) in olden days teen age girls get married and lead successful married life.almost all the ekta's serial portraits this example bandini.... teen age santhu is shown as more wiser than dharamraj...i married to a man whom my parent suggested cuz as you said we all know that our parents are the best wishers .they do the best for us.when love come we neglect every thing...it is so powerful.
