Few days ago I was talking with a lady.in the the middle of our conv I asked her what is the biggest sin tphat a woman can do..? She was shocked to hear my question and didnt reply .Then I replied her back that TO TAKE BIRTH AS GIRL AND TO GIVE BIRTH ANOTHER GIRL IS THE BIGGEST SIN THAT A WOMAN COMMITS.She was against shocked to hear my comment and asked me why I said this.Then I told her that the first curse of being woman is that we have no shelter.After gaining sense we are told that the house which we consider as the biggest shelter is not ours.We are only guest here.Our original home is our hubby's home.And when we go there we are told often that this house wont be ours if we fail to prove ourselves as a perfect wife..DIL and all.We will have to prove ourselves no matter even it is at the cost of our happiness and even life.And if we fail to do so then we have to leave the house which was told to be ours and come back there which was never mine.And during this journey what a woman actually face is even worse than hell.What is the most pathetic matter is that a bird even an ant has a nest of his own but a woman can never say with full certainty that's my home...my shelter where I am fully secure.Home is such a place where there is no security for woman.If she is attacked on the road may be someone will come there in her help but if she is abused and tortured in home no one will come to save her.No law no rules can protect her from being tortured in her home.That's why I told that to take birth as woman and to give birth another girl is the biggest sin. That lady was silent for a moment and then said me "Mukti that means I have commit this sin coz I have given birth to a daughter.
May be many will differ with me but I just told what I have seen in the society and for a long time I believed it.But today I have started thinking different. Roopa and Meera have given their life but they have left a mes also .If we cant respect us then no one will respect us.If we cant fight for our right then no will fight for it.After reading your post I have promised to myself that if If give birth to a boy then the first thing I will teach him is "Try to be Human more than a man" and I give birth to a girl then the first promise I will give her is that "Never think that you have no nest.As long as your mother live you will never feel yourself homeless or insecure and if you are my daughter then never consider yourself as curse coz you are gifted for me."
Thanks to you Nikki coz after reading your posts I have taken this resolution and no need to say sorry for anything.

Hats off to you Mukthi and you will be an example for the man kind some day. If all started to think like this the world would be a better place. Isn't it dear?

First of all plz stop saying sorry to me yaar.I am your friend and your your own.So just dont make me feel outsider by saying sorry.
Dont know what life has decided for me in future but one thing is sure Kate that I will never compromise with my self respect and dignity and this is the thing I will teach my daughter also.If every woman starts respecting herself then one day will come when the world will respect her.

I won't go deep into this topic, as this topic itself is heart breaking. But I'm proud of your resolution. 👏

We are only sisters, we don't have any brother, so I know very well what my mom had to face. But I'm proud of my parents that they never once treated us any differently. On the contrary my parents gave us all the comforts and love in the world.

I'm what I'm today because of them only. I wish and pray that every child gets parents like them.

i felt like crying just by reading their story and i have seen some in my life too dear..
You have a done a great tribute to them by describing their sad story.. this is will help many from getting stuck in false traps.
