Those are such heartbreaking incidents where women are just taken advantage of. It just makes me realise how lucky I am that I live in a society where incidents like that are rare. Thank you Nikki for taking the effort to write on such incidents 🤗

ya u r right already meera and roopa lost their lives that cannot be returned back but i pray that atleast their souls rest in peace
and those abusersr brutally punished i know that they got their punishment but i hope that they realize what they had done to those woman and i really wish no other woman would suffer like this ...

u dont know di i m from india here we recently witnessed a woman suffered and lost her life she is not married and she is travelling by a bus in the night time she got brutally means brutally abused by 6 people and she breathe her lost after struggling for 10 days with her life after i read that in news paper and tv media i felt really upset and till now i couldnot forget that just i cant believe that even there r people who behave like animals even they cant be called as animals
this incident created ruckus in our country all the youth raised their voice against them but u know our law is so helpless ... i dont know why i felt to share this with u when ever i read about aarthi in MTB it reminds of this incident...

' The degree of civilization in a society can be judged by entering its
prison ' a novelist said...so true...for Meera and Roopa and many more the prison is 'marriage'. Many girls were/are subjected to very cruel, very inhumane and degrading treatement but then every one of us should take great strength from the belief that WE are quite different from these creatures and would not disgrace ourselves from such acts.

The day WE start believing that...'Anger, lust, jealousy, greed, hatred, ego... ... ... are plague...am sure...many out there will try their level best to prevent it from entering into the human form to avoid medicine and that is crime. The prime importance is 'controlling your mind'...if you have this one weapon...u r almost a gift for others to enjoy your company.

To be honest, I do not wish to reread those torture but at the same time I do not wish to stop who wants to share it for message purpose. The Character 'Arti and Yash' are too divine for me to look at that POV...but Nikki...I will follow your POV...as I respect your thoughts and feelings.

By the way the word 'Sorry' - we have been taught for many reasons to express - love the word (as long as we don't use it at the drop of a hat.) for this word is the only way to express the love u truly feel for the person u have hurt and Nikki u have expressed it well...once again...love your honesty and keep smiling and be healthy always...take care !

Nikki, i don't kow who r u...really don't know exactly who r u...
but seeing ur special note , ur responsibility towards others, n the reason why u started writing MTB made me admire u...love u...this time it came deep from my heart...i don't know ur age to call u elder or younger sister...but will feel more glad to treat u as my dear friend...as friend is the person with whom we'll share all our feelings...rather than a sister...

Meera and Roopa...reading about these two girls..i literally cried dear...i could feel a lump in my throat even while writing this about them...oh my poor girls, what all pain they've gone through...
as a girl...it's great learning for me..to see the other side of the coin...which is very cruel towards us(scary even to think about it)

Yes, it's true..all are not lucky to have people around them who love them...but in MTB aarti is lucky enough to have g3 n yash with her to reduce her pain...

.every time i say love u when i'm happy...but this time out of admiration...i'm saying...LOVE U FRIEND

That's such a tragic story and its not just India, women face various and unimaginable problems no matter to which corner of the earth they belong... Talking just about our country, the condition of women is worst..
I have like numerous stories about how girls are humiliated...
You gave the example of girls who died 20 years back, but there are so many example which happened just a few months back or just few days ago...

Girls dont just need to be strong but they need strong support also. Not sympathy of others, sympathy will make you feel good for few moments but it also makes you weak. Girls today need to be headstrong and simultaneously they need support who RESPECT and LOVE them as individuals...

Khair, I am glad to picked up the topic. But this topic has no end and NO SOLUTION... Yes, no solution... Sometimes its men responsible for the pain women suffers, but there are many instances where a woman is responsible for other woman's pain...

I would just say please RESPECT YOURSELF, and only then you can fight to for your self respect in society...

Thanks for this post Nikki...

Nikki, this so heart wrenching... But truly these people still exist. Who doesn't have important on women and take them for granted. 😭😭😭
I can understand what you are feeling right now about them. They were punished for nothing. I don't why people have such cruel hearts. I must say than marrying somebody like these cruel people it's better to stay alone. Sorry may be I'm too harsh. But this is what I felt. This is something I don't like to see hear, or want to see happening to a woman. But still these things happens in the world. Lot of girls suffer.
I'm glad you gave tribute to them in this way and I salute them.
I can understand what pain you are going through when you are writing this.
😭😭
Hats off to you Nikki for doing this for them. You are a true friend.😊
