Oh gosh...Aprita is sick and sooo needs help! She is totally emotionally blackmailing Yash and will just end up hurting herself the most! And Yash is totally helpless as he does not wnat to let Aprita down yet he has feelings for Aarti!! And I am eager to find out whether Aarti will visit Yash! Great update..And you are fast with ya updates too!! 👏

Part Ten

Aarti had called Prateik again and they had a long discussion about Aarti's concern. Prateik came up with a plan, he will sneak Aarti in so she can meet Yash and leave without anyone noticing. Prateik also assured Aarti that Arpita was occupying another room since they employed a house nurse to take care of him so if they are careful she will avoid meeting her. Nevertheless they had to execute the plan later in the evening whereby most of them would have retired to their rooms. They also roped in Vidhi in their plan, she would provide the lookout. But as the saying goes there is never a perfect plan, Aarti was found out. She went to Yash's room, he was heavily medicated and sleeping. Aarti thought she will stay a while until he gets up, however minutes turned to hours. Before she knew she was asleep in sitting position with her head resting on the bed. The person who caught her was none other than Arpita. Arpita was furious when she saw Aarti, she pulled her out of the room.

"What are you doing here, I thought I told you to stay away," Arpita said all riled up.

Arpita still holding Aarti's hand dragged her to the main door. She was all set to throw her out when Gayatri removed her grip on Aarti .

"Aarti you go back inside, let me see who dares to throw you out while I'm here," Gayathri stared at Arpita and said.

"Mummyji, you are forgetting I'm the bahu of this house not her," Arpita defied her.

"It's not me, you are forgetting that Aarti is also Yash's wife and that right you gave it to her," Gayatri told her off.

"If she stays, I'm leaving," Arpita said clearly not satisfied that Gayatri is taking Aarti's side.

"You can go if you want to, no one will stop you."

Arpita was stunned, she realised she was fighting a losing battle, she just walked away from there.

"Aarti, you can do as you please here, this is your house," Gayatri said.

Aarti was overwhelmed and thanked her wholeheartedly. Aarti was hesitant at first but on Gayatri urging she returned to Yash's room.

Suraj Pratap watched the incident and was upset that Gayatri alienated Arpita. Later in their room he chided her to which she replied, "Yash's happiness is the most important thing for me."

"What are we going to answer to Arpita's parents?, she is Yash's legal wife," he said with grave concern.

In the other room, Aarti was sitting on the floor next to bed restlessly. When she felt Yash's hand caressing her hair her spirits lifted.

"Aartiji, you came. Why didn't you wake me up?" Yash said trying to get up yet still groggy. Aarti helped him by putting a pillow behind his back. Yash asked about Ansh and after some time he dozed off again. Aarti had to go back home, it was getting late for her. Aarti met with Vidhi and Prateik on her way out.

"Bhabhi, I'm really sorry we didn't know you were still in Yash Bhaiya's room earlier, if Vidhi Bhabhi or I had known we would have warned you," Prateik apologised.

"Well I think everything happens for good, Mummyji has given you permission you don't have to worry about Arpita, you can come and go as you wish," Vidhi said.

"And Aarti.., Mummyji asked you to stay back tonight, it is too late already. I will give you some change of clothes," Vidhi added. Aarti agreed to it.

The next morning Aarti and Vidhi was in the kitchen when Arpita walked in. She was not pleased at all.

"Looks like someone is going to be a permanent guest in this house," Arpita remarked and later added, "Bhabhi I'm going to go to my parents' place, I feel suffocated here." Vidhi and Aarti exchanged looks.

Aarti brought breakfast for Yash when he woke up. He was grumpy because he was forced to take his medicines. Prateik then walked in.

"Bhabhi, I don't understand Yash Bhaiya is always exercising but still lying on the bed with something or the other," Prateik laughingly told.

Yash threw one of the pillows at him, luckily he managed to duck in time. Prateik was about to leave, Yash stopped him.

"Prateik, I need your help."

"My helpp.., Bhaiya there are a lot of people to help you, you can ask the nurse or bhabhi to help you. I haven't seen Paridhi for few days now, I've made plans to meet her," Prateik replied not thrilled at the prospect of staying back.

"No...No... only you can help me definitely not the nurse or Aarthiji," Yash said but Prateik coolly took off.

"Oh ..ho! Yashji why are you acting like this?, tell me what it is and I will do it for you," Aarti looked at Yash and asked.

"Woh... I've not taken shower in many days so I wanted Prateik's help," Yash told her bashfully.

"Hmm..., that's a tough one, Prateik is gone ..shall I call the nurse."

"No, no .. not the nurse."

So Aarti helped him to remove his t-shirt, the rest he insisted he will do himself. Aarti stood at the door in case he needed her help. True enough he called her after a few minutes.

"Aartiji..."

She went in quickly without seeing the bar of soap on the floor she slipped but luckily Yash caught her with one hand.

"That's why I needed your help, it fell from my hand," Yash said.

Their position was quite awkward and he helped her to stand straight all the while still holding her. She wriggled a bit but he wasn't letting her go, in fact he brought her closer to him. Aarti blushed and bit her lips which got him excited. He was about to kiss her when they heard someone saying, "Sir , maam.., is everything alright?..Do you need my help?"

"No, everything is alright," both Yash and Aarti answered together. Aarti made a move to the door , turned and smiled looking at him. He smiled back.

When Aarti made known to Yash she was going back, he was reluctant to let go, he kept calling her.

"Aartiji ..You are coming back soon, right?"

"Yes, Yashji..I will be back soon. I need to check on Ansh. He is not used to being without me," Aarti replied him.

She was at the door, he called her again

"Aartiji .. woh Aman you are not ..."

"No... Yashji, I'm not. Aap bhi na. Bye."

"Bye... bye," Yash said and smiled at his own silliness.

note : Hope this part wasn't a bore. Anyway, will be finishing my story in another two parts.
