Special Update (Part 2)
Aarti held the note and twirled with happiness. She spent the next couple of hours by indulging in some pampering at the spa in the hotel, she dolled herself up. Time seemed to move extremely slow, she looked at her wrist watch many times and to pass her time switched on the TV, flipped the channels and out boredom slept off. Then she got a call from Yash, asked her if she was ready and told he will be there soon. Yash appeared at last and presented her with a bouquet of flowers. She was beaming and Yash complimented her on her looks.
Yash and Aarti took a taxi to a restaurant that Yash reserved earlier. The ambience was grand and inviting, Aarti was on cloud nine. Everything was perfect..perfect or did she speak too soon. Aarti saw Yash waving to someone behind her. She turned around to look and guess, who does she see?, the bimbo from last night. Aarti almost choked on her food. She was walking straight towards them.
"Yash, Hi.. I know I'm intruding but can we share this table with you guys, the whole place is fully booked and I don't know how long we'll have to wait," the bimbo asked.
Aarti was thinking to herself, "Yashji say NO."
The bimbo didn't wait for an answer, she just pulled a chair and sat casually. Her friend followed suit.
"Sorry, I forgot my manners, this is Aakash," she introduced and added "Aakash.. Yash and Aarti. Yash and I used to study together."
Aakash and Yash shook hands and he nodded at Aarti. Aarti sure wasn't the least delighted with this, there goes their dinner down the drain was all that she could think at the moment. Yash and Aarti were almost done with their dinner and using this as a perfect excuse to try and make a run from them. However the other couple insisted for them to stay back. They conversed with each other while eating, mostly it was the bimbo and Yash, while the other two were mere spectators. Aarti swear if she had a knife, she would put it straight through her heart. It was only when Yash left for the gents and Aakash for a cigarette smoke that she struck up a conversation with Aarti, it was more like she talked and Aarti listened.
"Aarti..Are you always clad up in sarees? And you address your husband as Yashji. Arpita was a modern girl, she was like me. I guess once she got married to Yash her dressing changed." She shrugged and said, "Yash's family is so old fashioned."
"Arpita and I used to fight over Yash back then," she said and laughed loudly.
"I was disappointed when I heard she was marrying Yash."
Aarti couldn't believe her ears, shamelessly talking about "her husband" to her. She tried to change the topic by saying, "Ishita' Aakash.. Is he your fiance?"
"No.." she answered. "Boyfriend," Aarti asked again.
Ishita answered, "Honey, Aakash and I are friends with benefits."
Aarti jaw almost dropped.
"Don't be so shocked, we are not living in the eighteenth century," she added.
They were later joined by the men. Out of the blue Ishita suggested the four of them go to this popular hangout place. Again Aarti was hoping for a NO. She was in for a big disappointment, she heard him saying yes. Aarti came with excuses like her clothes weren't suitable.
"Oh! Not to worry, my friend has a boutique nearby, we'll just go there and grab something for you to wear," Ishita said enthusiastically.
Aarti heavy heartedly followed them. Aarti glared at Yash and he assured her it will be a quick one and they will go back soon.
Aarti tried on a few dresses, she didn't like them. And then she tried on this beautiful red dress. It showed all her curves at the right places. Yash was definitely pleased and gave his thumbs up. The place they went had loud music and filled with smoke. They made a go at an empty spot. Aarti was terribly pissed when Ishita chose to sit next to Yash leaving Aarti to sit opposite them. All she wanted to do was squeeze in between them. They ordered their drinks, Aarti was reluctant because she wasn't used to drinking so she ordered juice for herself.
"Aarti, there is always a first time. Let me order for you," Ishita insisted.
Yash smirked and Aarti wasn't happy seeing that, she said "Alright."
So Aarti took her first drink albeit cautiously. It didn't taste that bad so Ishita ordered another round for her. Ishita then pulled Yash for a dance. Aarti literally fell of her chair, she was super pissed and in her anger took a few shots of drinks from the table. She felt more than tipsy and after a while started feeling queasy and ran outside of the place to throw up. Luckily Yash saw her, followed her and judging the state she was in, hailed a taxi to their hotel.
Aarti was giggling a lot and Yash was amused to see her antics until she did the weirdest thing. She went closer to him and sat on his lap. Using her finger she then traced his face. Yash was feeling embarrassed, more for the taxi driver than himself. As if that was not bad enough, she snaked one hand up under his shirt, gently caressing him and with the other hand pulled him for a kiss. She was looking so alluring and sexy in that dress for a while he lost himself only to be brought to reality as the taxi reached the destination.
Yash had good sense to remove her heels, he held and supported her with one arm. She was hollering gibberish, he had to close her mouth because people were watching her. Once in their room Yash helped Aarti onto the bed. He laid her on the bed and she did one surprising move, she pulled him and he fell on top of her. She chuckled.
"Aartij..Why don't you get some sleep?" he said.
"No I don't want to sleep," she said and put her hands around his neck and pulled him closer.
He tried to remove the grip of her hands but she didn't want to let go. Eventually she was worn out and drifted to sleep.
The next morning, she got up and couldn't remember anything about the previous night. She only prayed that she didn't do anything stupid.
"Yashji.. must be mad with me." She looked around, he wasn't there, later she tried calling him but he didn't answer his phone. She went to the bathroom to shower. She heard the sound of the door, it must be Yashji. She just grabbed a towel, draped herself and went to meet him. She looked at his direction. He ignored her, took off his watch and slumped into the bed.
"Yashji..Are you angry at me? I'm really sorry, I didn't drink on purpose. I got j..j," she stopped talking she couldn't say the word out, her pride was at stake.
He got up, walked towards her while unbuttoning his shirt. She was confused and took a few steps back but he caught up with her. He pulled her closer and drew her into a passionate kiss.
"Shall we continue from where we left," he whispered into her ears. Aarti's heart fluttered. He picked her up, lay her gently on the bed and then they began to explore each other.
note: I'm not sure about this update, two-minds to post it or not.
