I have to confess that the first time I read the name of Yash's long-time friend, I laughed a little to myself - because I can't seem to dissociate the name "Naina" from Kratika, either, since I've been developing a story in my mind for a while now based on Kratika's portrayal of Naina. But Kratika is Aarti here and in my mind's eye as well, so this part was quite amusing for me (I will let a face come to mind for your Naina later, but I'm still hearing Kratika's voice in my head right now! 😆). All that aside, I love the direction you're taking this. I love it so, so very much!

Borna...I didn't realize about the Naina/Kratika connection when I used that name. I needed a name (a short one) and I just plucked it out of nowhere.😊

Somewhere she wants to a part in that incomplete family and make it complete but couldn't think of it as she considers herself as a curse. Arati accepted so fast that Naina could be that girl in Yash's life and the reason could be some where she wants to run away from those emotions and feelings Yash evoke in her just by one look. But I am really glad that unknowingly even Naina became the reason for the burning of the drawing book which gave not only Arati a chance to let out her pain but will make her understand slowly that none other than her could be the mother of Payal and if she wants to see Yash and Payal happy, she will have to let go of her insecurities and pain and embrace the life for all 3 of them.

Once again you have caught on the pulse of the goings on in Aarti's heart. She sure is trapped between what she is feeling and what she feels should happen. You are right...the feelings Yash evoke in her are so dangerously delicious that her inexperienced heart is getting scared, so the moment she sees Naina, she thinks Naina is the one. She will get it soon enough that why the girl she herself thought the right one became so inapt after awhile.
