Aarti is bound to feel uncomfortable with Yash at first. It's upto him to put her at ease. Well...men like Sameer think that they can have all the women they want just because they have money to flaunt and that you dangle a piece of jewelry in front of them and they'll follow. Since Aarti didn't fit the image, she became a challenge.

That was a great update. Loved how the innocent talk of Payal solved Yash's confusion. Happy to see that even if he came across so many wrong people, he still have some faith and wanted to prove himself wrong about his impression on Arati.

If Payal is going to come to Yash, that would be awesome and she can meet her mountain fairy herself.

It looks like both Yash and Nanimaasi will give Sameer a good class.

In spite of all the heartburns he got, Yash is a fair person. He has accepted that he feels attracted toward Aarti, but he hasn't let her off the hook yet. It's not that he doubts Aarti...it's that he doubts his own judgment. Therein lies the difference. He is not actually putting her to test...but is in fact testing his own self, his own faith.

Oh Sameer Awareness class is very much on. 😛

First of all, CONGRATS on the new thread Indu!! Its a sign of how popular and well loved this story is :-).

Now, the chapter. Arya's story really is meant to be! From the start the universe has been conspiring for them to meet. Its so beautiful. I wonder if Yash and Aarti will ever figure out how many times they have actually met? I don't condone lying usually, but I agree that Yash needs to hide hs identity and wealth from Aarti. Not for his reasons, but becos she's likely to run for the mountains if she knew the truth lol. Aw, I'm so disappointed in this stupid mr singhania. Here I was thinking he might be a nice guy who will give yash a run for his love and money hehe, and he turns out to be an a** instead:(. Yay, now at least yash can see that he wasnt wrong about Aarti and he gets to meet his future gf naanimaasi:-).

Great work Indu!! Every chapter makes me fall more in love with this story. I can never predict whats going to happen next, so every new chapter is like a present I get to unwrap:-). Cant wait for the next amazing chapter...

Hey! It's fabulous. Beautifully woven in words. Now Yash's MU about Aarti taking the jewelry will be cleared. Nice that he is portraying to be a poor man, this will make him believe about Aarti that she is not a gold digger. Wow! He got Payal's mountain fairy all dressed in white like an angel. Now that Payal also coming to Nainital she can ask what she wants from mountain fairy, and I believe she will ask for mamma. Both Yash and Aarti's naanimaasi told Sameer to leave her alone at the same time. Waiting for more Yash-Aarti interaction, update soon.

This Sameer Sighania guy looks interesting and I hope that you make him to be a strong antagonist. A strong antagonist always empowers the protagonist to be better is what I have seen in beautiful stories.


I love the conversation between Payal and her father. It reminded me of real life situations. Her conversation with her father made me smile!


I felt Arti presence in the story as a gentle spirit just like you described as a mountain spirit!

Yash and Mr Darcy!!! Hmm...interesting. Why do you say that? Because like Darcy Yash too has hidden something from his lady, or are you referring to Darcy's prejudice and his sense of superiority that led him to separate his friend Bingley from Jane? I have a feeling you refer to the latter...simply because if you look at it from Aarti's point of view, Yash does come across as somewhat condescending toward her character...as if he has the right to hold a view concerning her till she proves him wrong. Yes that's it? That's what you mean I'm sure...and you are spot on.

Sameer's character may have it's own significance in the coming days. The cad might just be the proverbial spoke in the wheel, who knows? Haven't given it much thought.

I love your description of Aarti...just love it. She is such a gentle spirit, isn't she? In spite of the tough hand life dealt her.

As for your suggestion regarding DC, I feel it won't be appropriate Angel...This is a fiction...purely a leisure time read; and over there in DC we deal with the show-related stuff.😊
