Well, Arpita was dadima's choice of bride for Yash, so she was keen to know what impact the girl had on her grandson. Yash's opinion and wishes matter to her. None of them would know why Arpita married Yash...Even her parents don't know that she could have an ulterior motive.

Hello dearest Indu, firstly a million apologies on not commenting and reading updates so late, life has just been a rollercoaster with not enough time in a day...sigh. Indu I have lost all words of praise for you so I'll sum up the the last 3 updates as "PHENOMENAL". Each update is truely like a breath of fresh air. The way you have managed to intertwine Yash and Aarthis lives and experiences although they have not yet met directly is just brilliant. I love the way you are bringing about the comparisons between the two ie: Yashs dadima and Aarthis naanimasi, the tug of war effect of both and the push and pull felt by both their situations is so mesmerizing and captivates their characters beautifully. The journal and its wording Indu is just brilliance and it adds to the essence of this unknown force to both currently and which will later on be known as what we know as "SAMARPAN". Yash has been scorched so deep by the word TRUST and I can understand how deep he must be broken which only makes me realize just how difficult it must have been for Arya to build what they now have. The path may have been rocky and steep but the security that was born of it makes it all worthy. Arpita grrr ...can u toop any lower, its clear it was all planned and she has played on Yashs humanity and sincerity. So its quite clear that Payal is the result of Arpita and Rahul...omg is she going to handle this truth that neither Yash or Aarthi are her biological parents. will the love created in her world by Arya be enough to see her throught her true identity. Will Arya divulge the entire truth to her or not? Will Payal feel betrayed or like the luckiest girl in the world to hve been saved from the harsh realty of life? I have so much more to add Indu but unfortunately time does not permit:( May u always be blessed Indu with the creativity of magic that surpasses all boundries, you manage to find and create happiness even in the painful reality of life. in the beginnig - i kept saying don't do it yash don't do it. once all was decided - i kept thinking don't fall in love with her. but then you changed it all😲. ...and she's not a least bit bothered by it all😡 that just flummoxed me 🤓. didn't even pretend...i..i don't know. ugh - i can't relate to arpita. so i can't predict her actions at all. even ishita in the show, i sorta understand her want of revenge. don't agree with, mind you, but i understand her to some extent. with this arpita - i'm lost.

p.s. the poem in the beginning- i love that part of your stories always- though i don't voice it enough. but this one just...got to me. absolutely beautiful. is it yours?

Hmm...Arpita a la Ishita...maybe in basic traits somewhere. Arpita is clearly an opportunist...She first refused the marriage, only to come back next day and agree to it. So, what happened to make her change her mind? Then when Yash came for the visit, she was clearly assessing him, and when he showed interest in the journal, she grabbed the chance. So what gives? Clearly she was working toward this marriage with a goal. That's why the news of pregnancy also didn't faze her...cause she was already on her way to half achieving her goal. She just worked around the news and made Yash responsible for the child.

So- I have been quietly catching up on the updates to your story. This final one is so far my favorite- simply because it so easily provides an alternate perspective on events that you'd described earlier. That's quite a story telling skill- and I applaud your ability to do it in such a natural manner.👏👏👏

Let's see- getting to the plot. This plot is more complicated than that of Sparsh. It's intriguing because here it appears they're both going to be quite broken when they get together. In fact- I'm almost tempted to believe Aarti's going to be mending at the surface level and Yash is going to be crumbling inside (based on the facts so far!). I also like how you weave in the soulmate connection between them.

Aha...you caught on the thread of the story. Great! I was pretty nervous about this twist of the twisting kind. I am still unsure about how I'll pull it off...I have to think diabolic to write diabolic, which is not easy for me, cause I can't even recognize simple cheating. My kids pull a fast one on me, and they only have to tell me that they have done it when they see their dumb ma not getting it. Give me a love sequence anyday. 😳

Jac...I always relive the chapters through your "experiences" of their reads. It's such a fulfilling feeling...very hard to describe actually...something like , "Aha...she caught that...I knew she would." You make me fall in love with my characters all over again. Like, confessedly Yash's dadima became one of my most favorite characters by the end of the chapters. She is a strange mix of tradition and modernism...She liked a girl keeping in mind Yash's needs. She clearly preferred the match, but won't impose on her grandson to agree under duress. She probes till she finds out that he indeed is interested at a deeper level. At no point was her wish above his. Plus she clearly is completely biased toward Yash...they share a unique friendship. Also, one thing I wanted someone to note was that dadima didn't get to welcome Yash's bride over the threshold after all...that is, Arpita didn't get the rightful grihapravesh in the house...Isn't that foretelling something?
