I sensed Pandit dadu is going to die in this one.. I was even abt to request u to.. not do so... in the last update...for Aarti will be all alone then...but I guess it was required in the story...and I can see..all her past ties.. relations that mattered to her...have gone.. nothing left for her...so she is leaving for good...😊
Yash yet again.. makes an entry.. and makes a difference in Aarti's life...!! 😊
Its interesting.. that suddenly Aarti decides to speak up.. just after Yash's advice..who had otherwise accepted her destiny.. and believed that she deserves all this.. !! what made her do that...??

I feel Aarti does have a self righteous streak in her.. just muffled.. hidden beneath the layers of all the sadness,misery...she had to take...and Yash is kind of a trigger to unleash.. to remind her that...!! Am I making any sense... ok.. will stop here...!! 😆
Hail to Naanimasi...!!
Very nice.. Indu.. Thanks and Do continue...!! 😊

Sia...Thanks. Those lines in bold...how well you are reading this tale. You make perfect sense my friend. It's all there...absorbed like a sponge from the goodness she came in touch with. It's just that Yash seems to hit that right chord and propel her to act...to rise above her insecurities.

She had few days to dwell on her predicament before she had her interview. She had accepted that there was no way out...but that doesn't mean she liked what was happening to her. At that point there was no Malti, no Pandit dadu to tell her what to do. What I am trying to say that she needed someone to tell her what to do and why? Yash was Godsent.

Why does this injustice always happen to girls where they have no control over their own life!😡

Thank god Yash was there to lead her in the right direction!😳

FANTASTIC!!👏

Please continue soon!⭐️

Thank you.

Some parts of our society are to be blamed my friend. They still follow these archaic norms...norms that take away the fundamental rights from a young girl. Sad...but true.

Coming to the update, it is heart wrenching to see how arthi became the target for everyone to vent out their anger, grudge, sorrows and inflict torture to satisfy their ego. sometimes people are so busy in their self-ego that they overlook or never care to notice the damage it is causing to the innocent ones around them.

Finally, Nanimaasi came to her rescue, hopefully yash will also join her sooner.

Thanks pal.

Glad you are with me on this...That's exactly what I wanted to convey.

Silent but ever present, Di😆

I do hope to get around here eventually, but the most I muster these days is a bleary eyed glare at the screen.🤔 *Sighs blissfully at the thought of springbreak*

The degree of psychological damage that Aarti's family imparted on her throughout her childhood and adolescence is disturbing to say the least. It is intriguing to note how easy it is for humans to twist superstition and societal customs to justify their prejudices and bias. Aarti unfortunately had to suffer at the hands of people like that. Whether they truly believed her to be a curse or were simply taking some form of sadistic, unspoken pleasure in "putting her in her place" for being born female, and in the face of her mother's death is still up for a toss.

Before I run, I know that there were far more troubling things in the story so far, but I'm still smarting over the loss of Aarti's artwork and writings. As someone who spent a whole two days burning in frustration over losing four sentences, I can't imagine how it would be to lose an entire journal, and considering how I feel about my drawings...Probably seems trivial, but these forms of expression and their products are like friends and family, they're little bits of you. Anyhoot, see you around about, Di.

Kadeen...Hey there lil sis! Great to have your first thoughts on Samarpan. Thank you.

I can safely say that the family were just blindly following their beliefs as also that she was a girl. The fact that their son had disowned her gave them the licence to treat Aarti like dirt...an unwanted baggage. But since they were supposed to be a reputed family, they couldn't deny her the education till graduation. First time the Scindias gave the nudge. Post schooling, the society took up her case when she topped the state..and so she could go to college. However, now even the society can't help her if they decide to rid her by getting her married off.

I completely agree that the loss of Aarti's art was the worst loss she faced in her life...it completely demotivated her. However, not all is lost...bits and pieces are still preserved. Wonder what Yash was reading in the car!!!😛

See ya lil one...take care.🤗
