The whole Dubey family is so typical - and so representative of the atrocities still committed on young girls' today. I am glad you are not giving more graphic details - sometimes, what is left to imagination is more potent than words.

And finally Naanimaasi is here. I loved her dabaang attitude - nothing else would have shut the Dubeys' up.

Wonderfully written Indu!

Thanks Kat...

Gosh pal...even writing that one para toward the end took a lot out of me. I am sure you understand the feeling...It's when you visualize and then write; it's as if you were there and couldn't do anything. It's creepy in a way.😳

good for Aarti!👏
and yay for naanimaasi

Rutu...that quote above..👏 It's not that Aarti never lacked courage. If she had she would never have made it thus far. She took strength from people who were there for her. But for some reason she responded instinctively to the unknown stranger who entered her life anonymously on all occasions. It's almost as if Pandit dadu's words coming to life when he told Aarti that Saraswatima will send someone for her if she is busy elsewhere.😊

Poor Aarti had to suffer so much at the hands of her cruel family. I hope things get better from here on with her moving to Naintal. And I do hope Aarti still considers taking up the job in Bhopal.

I loved the conversation between Yash and Aarti. He gave her strength to face her family and now she is able to leave them and go off with her naanimaasi. But where has naanimaasi been all these years?

Looking forward to the next update!

Thanks Nina.

Naanimaasi was leading a recluse's life ever since her sister (Aarti's naani) died (I mentioned in CH1 (I think)). She led a solitary life. Also, she had no means to know that her sister's granddaughter was leading such a tortuous life. It's only when Radha contacted her that she came to know of the gory details.

I loved that despite her guardian Angels leaving her one by one she had more coming into her life with the one constant Angel that is Yash Scindia, he doesn't know what came over him while they had their convo all he knew he had to give her the strenght and the courage to do what needed to be done and she did 😳 😳

Her father's family are terrible I totally love Radha for calling Aarti's naanimaasi ❤️

Yeah Aarti is going to Bhopal, I can't wait for SP to know that she is there plus let Aarti and Arpita be friends haha I love their first encounter Arpita was very possessive about Rahul 😆 😛

You've outdid yourself my friend keep up the great job 🤗 🤗 🤗

Thanks Zet...🤗

Yeah Yash has always popped in whenever she needed a direction and guidance. There's this connection he has with her ever since a just-born Aarti grabbed his finger...it's as if she will always need his finger to guide her. As for her going to Bhopal, we'll have to wait and see whether she does or not. At the moment she is going to Nainital.

Yehey too for that inner strength that came to fore while she stood her ground and gave voice to what she wants to happen and do with her life (though inwardly quaking).

Looking forward to the next chapter. Always in awe of how you are able to vividly tell your tale. Thanks again !

Thanks you, Cynthia.
I am just following my gut instincts with this tale my friend. I am just going where it is taking me.😳

Magnificent update. It's like I am watching a film. All the characters are so beautifully written. Pandit dadu, malti, radha, all are so kind to Aarti. And Professor Sharma who gave Aarti opportunity to work, that's so nice of him. And Yash and Aarti's silent conversation where he understood what she was trying to say.

Aarti's family is disgusting. How could they force her to marry a middle-aged man. Thank God, Radha called nanimaasi to save her from her family people. That's so nice of Radha.

" Holding me up'..when I am weak
Helping me find what it is I seek.

Catching my tears'.when I cry
Pulling me through when the tide is high.

Just being there'.through thick and thin
Protecting my heart from within
You helped me to begin."
Above lines are strong yet beautiful and it depicts Yash strenght as I find him been that pillar to Aarti for now she can slowly start healing from her childhood
I somehow like Naanimaasi as she gave Aarti freedom
yet again an outstanding SS

I loved the starting lines.. 👏👏 The lines are so touching.. I am sad for Aarti as I got to know that Panditji has gone too far from her life! He had passed away.. 😭😭 My god.. The drawing.. 👏 Aarti will never left us without surprises from her fantastic drawings.. 👏👏

This buaji... She is so 🤬!! She should be so shame of herself of doing that to Aarti and speaking rudely to her.. 😡😡

Aww.. Yash! Again he acted like a silent hero in Aarti's life.. Saving her from 'danger' which are upcoming in her life.. I'm glad he had helped her in expressing herself towards others.. 😳

I'm just excited for more.. This is so beautiful! 👏👏👏 Thanks for the PM and update! Brilliant ji.. 🤗

Thank you so very much Isya.

Why one...you can have any number of hugs you need...🤗 🤗🤗

Aarti's journey is taking her closer to Yash. I just have to figure out how Yash meets her now.😊

Loved the bit with her and Yash where unknowingly they communicated through silence and somehow she has an impact on him without him even seeing her. Fantastic job as usual. Loved every bit of it.

Thank you my sweet Saf...😊

I didn't want to stretch too much Aarti's life upto the time she meets Yash...At the same time we had to know how her childhood and teen years were like. Yash has met Aarti in different forms so far. Neither he knows Aarti is the same girl nor Aarti knows he is the guy who told her about self-defence and who was instrumental in getting her into a school. Now, a little bit of Nainital and then I'll touch in brief Yash's past.
