The way he continually leaks clues, either intentionally or unintentionally, that she's the one he plans to marry is great: "But it is. That's what I came to tell you. You don't have to worry about what my grandmother says or believes. Important thing is what we believe and what we want. And both Palak and I want you." And his "our marriage" a little later on. So good.
Just catching up on Part XII! Once again, wonderful installment, Indu. Your Palak scenes are so touching. I love the relationship she has developed with Mishti/Aarti and I love her relationship with Yash. Speaking of Yash, the man is so charismatic. I love him more with each new installment. The way he adapts to meet each new situation and deal with the people around him -- Dadi, Gayatri, Palak, Prateek, and Mishti/Aarti -- is fantastic. And I particularly enjoy the way Mishti/Aarti matches wits with him every time.
And a fantastic ending, Indu. Your endings are going to give me a coronary one of the days, lol, but I wouldn't have it any other way! Yash is a clever one and I'm very intrigued to see the full breadth of Mishti/Aarti's reaction. 😈 Looking forward to your next installment, my friend! 😃

Yash is trying to go easy on Mishti, dropping hints and all that... yet he can't let her be by herself anymore, given the kind of problems he has seen she faces. It kills him to realize what she must have gone through post that tragedy. However, knowing how stubborn his Mishti can be once she decides on something...he knows he can't afford to wait for her to come around...She won't react unless the nudge turns to shove. He thinks he has hit upon her reason...but he doesn't know yet that that is not the crux of her problem...what her real fear is. She is scared that if she moves on in her life...what'll happen to babuji and Ansh....especially now that she knows his family's outlook on the kind of woman they want as their son's wife. They don't want their bahu to have a baggage from past...and she comes as a package. Plus she knows Yash...he won't think twice about standing against his family for her. So it's Catch 22 for her....making her choice clear. Yash doesn't know this part of her turmoil.

Thank you for loving my interpretation of the characters...I have tried to keep them as close as possible to the original, with tweaks wherever required. I love the progression of your characters! They are not perfect, yet realistic! 👏 As for Yash...the depth of his feelings form the very essence of this story. He understood even when blind what his soul mate couldn't with her vision. Yash never needed vision to know Mishti...His heart, all his other senses, his soul, his entire being respond to her. Mishti's mind is fighting a lost battle with her heart...and Yash is out to erase this irrational conflict. That's the very reason I love this story so much! 😳 He's too sweet! The only thing that he is unaware of are her reasons. I'm sure he'll understand her! 😳 She needs the support and love! He can't understand what is it that is making her take such a strong stand against the feelings that they share. I'm sure you have something big planned for when he does fully get the reason behind her actions! 😆
