@angake, loved your thought.

I one way Yash also died the day Arpita died and so he lives with her memories, he is just living for the children. But, Arati brings Yash alive and makes him react to the situations in the most unexpected way. Only Arati's presence and her spontaneous nature can bring him back to life. When his family members will not accept her or Ansh in a proper way, then he will start to react and stand by her which makes him understand that he cannot live in the past and has a present to take care of.

Also, papa Scindiya's dialogue where he says that once Ansh's comfort level with Payal and Palak is good because, he does not have a dislike towards him. About Yash's needs, I don't know why everyone is so bothered about that when he is the one who is least bothered.

When Yash thinks about Arpita, he is as dead as her in one sense. It is like he is just going through the motions of life. Arpita makes him want the time to stand still. On the hand Aarti makes him so alive, he is so alive! He goes through the whole gamut of emotions given to us humans from exasperation and sometimes anger, to admiration, to respect, to intrigue to physical attraction and so much more when he is with Arti.

@Angake: Hi, missed you in the morning.
I endorse all that you meant there in that para. Arpita/Yash had a cliched love story in a manner to speak: there was comfort, but no fiery passion; there was ease, but no fervent ardor; there was awe and adoration, but no wild, intense interaction; and, most importantly, it was predictable, and had no surprises. If Arpita were alive, they would have lived a very happy, easygoing life, but Yash would have never known what being electrocuted by just a touch meant, what it meant to look into someone's eyes and feel sucked in in a way that you are unable to look away for the fear of losing something, and what it meant to expect the unexpected when a certain someone was around. And as you said, Arpita's love holds him back, but Aarti's very presence frees him and he does and acts at will.

Its good that she mentioned Maansi had brain-washed her, bcos i was waiting for tis to come out from Aarti's mouth and also the part of flash-backs which now she understood, that was all accidents and not his intentions and self-thought that he is indeed a nice human-being...... Its nice that they showed such scenes again which made her realize more about Yash..

Though they hardly know each other better, Yash doesn't take much time to understand her where as Aarti takes much time to understand him, for eg: like when he is asking for key to open up the suitcase, she thought that he is asking for Arpita's bangles..
Well, to be honest i too thought the same 😆 . Is there anyone who felt same as mine in above analysis??

First of all, wonderful analysis! You raised some really great points and here's my take on some of them...

@Aarti's memories: I feel that Aarti has nothing but painful memories from her first marriage, I mean sure they had their romantic moments, but they were short lived and all of that happiness is overshadowed by the demise of that relationship. The memory of Prashant leaving her to never look back will soon become the only thing that she keeps going back to. In fact, it has already started, something I found extremely telling about today's episode is that they used a wind chime to trigger her memory, and not just any memory but the one of him leaving her. Within seconds of Yash's confessions, she doesn't remember a happy memory like Yash does, but one that marked the end of her old relationship and more than that showed the true character of Prashant, one that she still is unwilling to accept, but the first step to clarity has already been taken by her today, and unconsciously the comparison has started in her mind. The more she learns about Yash, the more she starts understanding him, the more she will realize what a fluke of a man Prashant was, and that ultimately that relationship just wasn't mean to be. Once she comes to this realization, Yash's goodness which is already overwhelming her will make it impossible for her to not fall in love with him.

@Maansi: Something I really liked about her self-thought on Maansi in the bathroom was that for her it wasn't even question that Maansi was in the wrong, she knew that she was. When they showed the flashbacks where she remembers Maansi's words, and then the situations that added fuel to those thoughts, she never even thought about questioning Yash's words, she just knew him to be right. I mean, if you consider the bee removing scene or the scene where his ring accidentally unties her choli, she really doesn't know what really happened in those scenarios, she doesn't know that there was a bee on her that Yash tried to swat, or that his ring got caught in her choli, so it would have been appropriate for her to wonder what all that was about. When they first showed those specific flashbacks, I was worried for a split second if they were going to lead her to be double minded, but I was super impressed that it was nothing of that sort, she didn't even think about questioning it, because everything was overpowered by that last flashback where Yash gives his explanation. The firmness in her voice when she placed the blame on Maansi for making her think so wrongly about this wonderful man, and the remorse in her eyes spoke volumes about the person she really is. She can already sense Yash's honesty, and after his words nothing else is important to her, there are no questions left, just simple clarity. [I have no idea if that made any sense because I think I did a terrible job of explaining myself].

And for the first time, there was pride and at some level possessiveness in her eyes/expressions for Yash. Her voice when she told herself that not all men are the same, oozed pride because it was her husband that was the exception; and as she continues to say 'Yashji thode alag hain' that small smile that appeared on her face was worth watching. Yash has already been shown to subconsciously be possessive of her, but now we see hints of it from Aarti's side as well, because the acceptance of him as her husband has already started for her!

@Understanding: I see what you mean, but I have a slightly different take. I agree that the way Yash seems to be in tune with Aarti is seriously impressive, but I don't think Aarti is far behind either. A clear example would of course be the hand print scene, where she made her decision to openly defy Gayatri's orders just because she knew that this was what Yash would have wanted. The way she read his eyes and every emotion during that scene was truly beautiful. I feel that before this, Aarti has been so busy being wrapped in all her misunderstandings about Yash that she never really thought about anything else in regards to him. Every time they came close to each other, her guard would immediately shoot up preventing her from really connecting with him, but as soon as the guards come down, the understanding and connection is back in full force for her. For Yash, he has always been sensitive of her feelings and expressions because he has been observing her with an open mind from the very beginning, there was nothing holding him back, so his subconsciousness took it's time to understand her and that's why he seems to know exactly what is going on in her mind without even having to look at her.

The whole kangan scenario is a good example though, I feel that initially Aarti will not know how to react around Yash because of his intense feelings for Arpita. After a confession like the one she just heard, her mind is still on Arpita and the love Yash has for her, so it didn't even cross her mind that he might be there to help her. She felt like was an intruder in their relationship, so when her gaze came across the kangans the only thing that made sense to her was that he wanted them back. He was clear just minutes ago that no one could take Arpita's place in his life, and since the kangans belonged to her, it was only fitting that she moved to take them off and return them. But when he placed his own hands to stop her from doing so, it was an unconscious declaration that she has already started to make her place in his life. Arpita will always be a part of him, but it won't be long before the presence of Aarti starts overtaking her memories in Yash's mind, because you can only keep memories alive for so long, and once you have a living, breathing present in front of you that is eliciting all sorts of emotions from you, memories are going to become a haze!

And this has got to be some of my most incoherent ramblings, so I apologize if it made no sense, and I just gave you guys a headache for nothing!

Thanks Jikky.

Yes, can you imagine according to reel time it was just few minutes ago where he was acting all goofy and foolish, completely out of his comfort zone, all because he didn't want Aarti's misunderstandings about him to deepen. And then he takes on the role of a provider, providing her with reassurance that her son is fine. And as we see in the pre-cap he is again completely flummoxed by how she instinctively nurtures his hand. 😳

I have to say that I was a little harsh on Yash earlier where I felt he should have been a little more pro-active in helping Aarti with Ansh during the grahpravesh rituals. But he proved me wrong. 😳 He absolutely knew that Vidhi had put Ansh in the girls room even though he was not privy to the conversation between Gayatri, Aarti and Vidhi where Gayatri asks Vidhi to put Ansh with the girls. This is in complete contrast to Papa Scindia who had no clue until he asks Gayatri about Ansh's whereabouts. How different both fathers are!

@Maham: Your wish is my command! (ok it was a coincidence but let's not ruin the magic! 😆)

I had such a busy day at work that I didn't log into IF once, not even to stalk! I was such a good little employee. But now that I submitted the thing I am FREE to be bad again! 😈

@All: Very interesting discussions and since I saw a lot about Aarti and Yash and the introduction of subtle romance already, I want to bring up something from my take last night that I want to hear your views on. It is in reference to Yash's flashback:

Yash on the other side is meeting his past, reliving the moment with Arpita when he realised that nobody would be able to take her place in his life. What was interesting about this flashback, among many other things, is the fact that it was sort of triggered by Aarti's presence. Suddenly Arpita's words had a new meaning because he did have a new partner, it was no longer abstract, even in the memory. So in the subtlest way possible, Aarti has entered his memories and his space with Arpita.

And that directly leads into his awareness of Aarti in the present. He looks at her in relation to the fb and it is then that he realises she is anxious and asks her why. This was again a change because it was not some external force, like a clap of thunder or a cough from his kid, that made him snap out of Arpita's memory but the memory itself led him towards Aarti in the present because of the suggestions it made regarding Aarti's role in his life.

What I found interesting was that in Yash's head, Arpita is talking about Aarti. I mean that is really twisted but if you can wrap your head around what I am trying to say, tell me what you think!

I know. :( I have this big project that is due next week and haven't done much about it. So I went to bed early last night thinking I will do some work in the wee hours of the morning before the whole household wakes. And here I am up since 3:30 am but on the forum instead of working on my project. ArYa and the forum are going to be the end of me one day.

I read your posts in the last few pages. I am not sure if I went that far back. I'll do it right away. 😃

I loved what you said about Yash and feeling electrocuted. 😆 So true, my goodness, he CANNOT tear his eyes away from Aarti. He is always always the last one to pull away. I don't blame him though. It is so hard to pull away from a woman who is as ethereally beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.

@angake,

yes, Yash may keep quiet but he knows his responsibilities well. And Ansh is also his responsibility. He speaks less because, I think he know only how to talk straight to the point to any person even if its his own mother, as we saw in Ansh's case during bidai and he it may sometimes can hurt the other person as he will talk the truth and straight and no beating around the bush.

From, yesterday Arati might have understood that he is a very caring person and its his care towards her that she always mistook. Yesterday when she had that FB about the incidents she understood, he don't talk much but only will act as in yesterday, to open the lock, he didn't utter a word but took the key from her and helped her.

@Samana,

True, I also felt that its Arpita who is always leading him to Arati from his past, may it be in the temple or yesterday. So, may be its that Arpita also loved him dearly so she wants him to be happy on his present life with Arati, his soulmate.
