I think Name-change will b kept on hold as Daddy Scindia wants to keep both parties ..that is Arpita's mom as well as Dubeys satisfied ..so the decision is pending and might b solved only after marriage 😊...

Neither Yash said yes or no regarding name-change nor Aarti said yes or no ...so the decision is not done

I fully agree with this...his behavior is abominable...and i think it goes to explain Gayatri Sc's behavior to some extent...& of course bua's as well. Really warped attitude toward women...no wonder the women of this house are also warped...wonder how Vidhi managed to retain her sanity/humanity???? by focussing exclusively on her children? to the exclusion of pankaj?

the misogyny is truly suffocating...

poor Aarti and poor Paridi...they're in for one hell of a tough life...

I understand Yash thought most about Arpita as he is in such situation and he didn't thought at all about Aarti and her identity, etc... But Aarti has full right to refuse, they r not doing ihsaan on her for second marriage, being her married before is not a crime, even their son had been married before, Why so unfair between son and daughter? No wonder their widow daughter feels down as their behaivours to put women down is so annoying... The way Yash's father also put his wife Gaytri down all time aur woh bhi infront others show that he has no respect for women's feelings or being... Sorry to say, but it's like I want to throw all kind gaalia on this mental family...

So the name issue stands unresolved as of now its going to be a clash of the elders vs the sons and their families at some point in the future.

Guess no one is actually going to follow the name changes esp the sons and their families. It was more to show the elder Scindias greatness and pride than anything else in the name change. So lets see how it proceeds.

For now lets enjoy the so called bachelors party of Prateek and Yash . With the new bahus coming in I can see only future rebellion by all the three bahubetiyaan against the the so called beliefs and customs of the elderly Scindias. Can see it coming .

@Gagori- Yash and Aaarti ...both said neither Yes nor No to Name-change Decision despite the elders assuming things on their behalf : Yash's silence and Aarti's silence was taken as Yes by all the elders but the silence will break after marriage into a big NO ...This is my 14 yrs of serial experience speaking ..so watch out

def something fishy going on...
the attitude change of daddy scindia once they have agreed to the marriage😡😡...seems like he was desperate to get his son married and now that someone is trapped he can change colors...he is now confident that they cannot withdraw without creating trouble for their future... the fact that they don't even have relatives to support adds to his advantage...and he weilds the weapon "accepting ansh" all too well... the change in Arthi was noticable... ansh who was not accepted by his own father is accepted by another... trapped
liked the bonding of brothers, the only refreshing aspect for me in todays episode...

I am so furious with Scinidia saas-sasur...😡

I find it hard to believe that Pankaj, Yash and Pratik are the sons of such parents.

In this case, the apples seem to have fallen no way near the tree, in fact, not even in the same orchard...

Then again, I'm not yet fully convinced that the sons are progressive...they're all kind, yes, thoughtful. yes...they don't seem hidebound...but do we really know this? Will they stand against irrational riti-rivaz?

Aarti's objection to the name change was based on her sense of self and she rightly asked which century these people were living in...but Yash's objection was based on his unwillingness to share anything of Arpita's right? Okay we can understand this because he's still mourning...

But does that mean he would fall in with the name change as long as the name was not Arpita?

Was "Arpita" also renamed?

Is their (Pankaj, Yash and Pratik) "modernity" limited to drinking, dancing and partying?

Cuz that isn't modernity, not by a long shot...

In fact this show seems to have a rather bizarre & simplistic view of modernity...

The portrayal of Paridi and her parents as "modern" was a caricature...

Paridi is a modern girl, so, she didn't pay attention to her saas doing Aarti...I resent that implication. That was just plain rude. Being modern doesn't imply disrespect and rudeness...

I would like to see a more nuanced and realistic depiction of both "tradition" and "modernity" here...
