@Samana: Right you are. Balance is the key and teamwork will be the order of the day for Yash and Aarti. They need to work together and bring the "disjointed five" under one umbrella first, create a family and function as a family, and for that, they need to communicate with each other first. They need to be "Parents"----and not a new papa and a new mumma. Boy, they have their work cut out for them. If I were a member of the creatives, I would ensure that the terrible trio drive these two so crazy that they are forced to sit together and strategize together.😆

Ansh definitely needs to learn a few manners
it appears that he is regulating arti's life acting all stubborn to get a father what if one fine day after marriage ansh tells arti to leave yash as he does not like him any more will arti agree to him like the way she agrred to get married to yash despite having a huge MU regarding his character

@Samana, very interesting take on the kids upbringing.

You are right, Ansh has a more well rounded upbringing than the girls maybe because its a smaller household and the members were able to devote more time on him as opposed to the girls in the big joint family. Ansh needs a Dad to satisfy his need for a superhero kind of Dad who would run around with him and take him for drives and so on which maybe Grandpa Dubey was not able to completely fulfill.

The girls its another story. In my experience all kids need to be reinforced how much the adults around them care for them and love them but especially so with girls than boys. Neediness in girls maybe nature's way of raising beings (girls/women ) who themselves must become nurturers at some point in their lives. And I don't think Payal and Palak are completely getting it. Like you said they are well cared for but there is that something that is missing.

@Indu, I loved your Nurturer Vs Caregiver take. To me that will be the crux of the story, how the two adults can be both and like you girls mentioned balance it out through team work.

So then here is another question, how can Yash and Aarti give their kids a well rounded and emotionally secure life if they both (well actually Aarti) cringe in the presence of each other.😕 Kids are super perceptive. At some point they are going to pick it up that their parents are not comfortable with each other. ArYa have a lot of work to do. 😃

Aww, cute episode! Thank you for the update, Jyoti. It was both interesting and annoying, and the fact that this lie is still not out in the open is getting one my nerves, but it's an Indian drama and these things happen for a long time. Heck, in IPPKND, Khushi did not find out about Shyam till forever.😆

I too felt the kids' scene was unnecessary, but they have to be doing something in the middle of the ceremony, right? I guess it's realistic to see them fighting.

I do hope Gayatri does not become the typical saas villain in this show. I want her to be a good character like Shobha, at least eventually, though I feel the Dubeys lack a backbone and that's getting annoying.

Very interesting discussion about the children ladies 👏

Now I have some questions... The girls were apprehensive abut the evil step-mom coming into their lives in one of the earlier episodes.. Where did they get such thots from..Was it Buaji's influence ?😕 Let's assume Bua also looks after them...coz Bua and the kids were MIA during the dargah visit and one of the girls was sitting beside her on the train.

I seriously want to see some scenes showcasing the girls thots about the situation ..what their fears are... and how did they change between the visit to the mall and the ganpathi pooja session . Were they fed some horror stories about what happens after a nayi maa steps in ??

@Priya: I think that is a bit unfair. GC has only stripped a total of two times (three if you count the holi dance) but has had a lot of valuable scenes where he has had the chance to showcase his greatest strength, the swiftness of his eyes in expression. Granted he has been given much less screen space than Aarti but like we have all been saying his life will be the focus of the show after marriage as Aarti is joining his family. They will never have another chance to show Aarti living with her family, being their DIL etc. And his lack of dialogue is actually a fascinating aspect of his character rather than an injustice to it, think.

That being said..

@Deeps: I totally agree that the balance between Aarti's side of the story and Yash's side is off. I agree that there are certain things that can't be shown with respect to Aarti after marriage but the same holds true for Yash and his girls too, right? I can seriously do a psychoanalysis on Ansh by now, regarding his feelings about this PV but I have no idea what the girls are feeling. I would like one scene where they express their feelings about their new mumma, what they have been told about Arpita, and like you said, what encouraged the sudden animosity from Payal...or was it just a careless action, testing her boundaries as kids tend to do at that age?
