Nice to meet you, Samana! :D
A relatively quick reply from me since I need to get some sleep...
That scene will need more rewatching - not that I mind, I'm completely addicted already - but I thought he was initially looking at Aarti since she was the one who bumped into him...He later realized that she wasn't the bride, of course. Ah, whatever! *holds up hands in defeat*
The bit about him being mesmerized I agree with...For the time being, at least. LMAO, your point about the bride and groom moving out of the way - reminds me of Kratika's cheeky description of the scene! She said something like, "Nakhre wakhre karte karte side mein chale gaye, main beech mein reh gayi aur saare phool mujhpe gir rahe hai." And then of course her description of how Yash enters..."Latakte latakte aayenge kahin se..." with hand gestures and all, haha. She seems to have such a great sense of humor in real life along with being very serious about her work.
I don't fangirl over bodies...You've probably figured out what I do "fangirl" over, though! Expressions, and any sort of subtle nuance that reflects depth of characterization or an understanding of the story, whether it's on the part of the writers or the actors. I'm already loving the chemistry between Gurmeet and Kratika a lot - they're both very expressive. The eyelocks will probably happen, you're right...But I'm not too worried about them since Aarti's reaction to getting her sari pallu stuck in the door and seeing Yash in the bathroom was to try and get out of the bathroom quickly instead of freezing like other serial heroines would. Also, she shrank back a bit (loved the look on Kratika's face, oh my gosh!) when Yash was trying to unlock the door, which I thought was a great little touch. If that was one promo (I might just have a flurry of posts this weekend at this rate) then I'm sure even better interactions are in store in the actual show.
I'm looking forward to seeing both parents bonding with their respective step-children, too. Especially Yash and Ansh...That kid is so freaking adorable, no wonder Kratika misses him when he's not around! She has such a great bond with the boy already - love the way they tease each other offscreen! And the little girls with Gurmeet are probably going to be just as adorable. Yay, at least it's not the weekend yet. I normally wouldn't be saying something like that, LOL!
