the article posted is from wikipedia.. not james todd version. second, from what i know.. james todd has describes the elopment of sanyo with prithvi.. but nowhere he has said that she was his only wife. Yes this elopment was very famous.. bcos prithvi lost most of his generals in this war..
third, sagar showing only sanyo doesn't mean she was his only wife.. In sri Krishna, they showed only rukmani (i am not sure abt satyabhama).. but v all know he had more than 2 wives.

yeaa but James Tod's books name is "history of Rajsthan", and the wikipedia link i gave directs you to the summary of this book.

The book i have is published by nagari pracharini sabha, it is given that it is written by chand bardai, n this book has been certified by the govt. of India. for educational purposes.
It has been published by 2 guys.. Mohan Lal Vishnu Lal Pandya & Shyam Sunder Das. they were the founders of this publishing house...
Still i am not arguing that the book i have is the original raso.. thats why i have asked suchasa for the details of the book store..s o that i can buy the book.. bcos as much as i know.. james todd has not said.. she was his only wife.. he just described their elopement.

i googled their name, but i didn't find much on 'em. but Tod has actually been awarded for his book "history of Rajasthan"

Tod has actually been awarded for his book "history of Rajasthan" so what.. Indian govt.. didn't feel like awarding someone... does that mean ... the book they publish r totally wrong... These people were there bfore india got independence.. The britishers who ruled us at that time thought its better that a foreign writer be given the award.. n not indian writers..

The other 2 famous books abt prithvi - prithviraj vijay n prithviraj ke abhyanth also tell that he had 7 wives

yes.. i had said that in another post too.. only sanyogita was given the title "queen of delhi or delhi maharani".His other wives were only known as "prithviraj ki raniya" that showed the amount of control she had on prithvi
