It seems like the dynamics of MKAP maybe changing. It seems that the ladies of MKAP will possibly be seen to make a stand in unison. I wouldn't be surprised to see a new banner in MKAP replacing Pratigya's singular one, with a poster of the fantastic 4 instead. Simillar to Maryaada's. Pratigya, Komal, Kesar and Arushi.
The focus has been on the Kriya and the baby track more on the forum.. but not forgetting the shows origins were suppossedly oriented around womens rights.
All 4 have had their fair share of problems, maybe it's times to evolve with the changing times and the characters may also be shown to do the same.
I feel MKAP had lost the will to promote women of the past to break out of their shell and step into the new world. Hence Amma and GD seem to have retired with their existing thoughts and they have been fully dissolved into their old world, and they have compromisingly accepted this as their 'ideal' element.
But the younger generation of these women may finally show, the situation around them needn't drag them into its pit fall and they may have a escape tunnel to a better life.
It will be fun to watch the collision of the new world verses the traditional old world. It shall definately create a whirlwind.
Will these four find their mukkamal jahan - whilst keeping their Maryaada intact?

Great Post, 😛

You know you may have a point. Each of these women have some similarites to the women of Maryada.

To see old generation views vs. new generation views would be interesting.

I do think that we are going to see a transformation in Komal, just from how she was asking Adarsh about how his Girlfriend and her differ. I would love to see a Komal education track and see her not be so dependent on Adarsh. Don't know why but I think the relationship between her Pratigya and Arushi is going to change for the better.

Good POV 👏

Only you could come up with a unique analysis such as this post, and in all honesty many have ignored the plight of other female character's, almost all female character have a gut wrenching story to tell !!, while the men characters were shown to be on a cruel rampage to get what they wanted regardless of the fact that many of their actions were heinous, criminal and they had no regrets, in fact oblivious to their crimes and the irony is that their popularity derailed the efforts of the CVs to show women empowerment.

A total failure now with the nose diving popularity of this serial and characters, since the original concept was abandoned during the second half of this serial !!!.

Thank u.
On one hand they are cracking down on social issues..which is good. BUT at the same time they are also showing marriage in a very negative light.
I hope they get the balance right somewhere.
I think it's about time Komal changed and works towards removing herself from the sterotyped 'uneducated' title.
It definately recently has shown a more mature level of interaction atleast between the sisters to start off with over the last few days.

Slowely but surely Komal will start growing. I was rather surprised at her yesterday. Her reaction was completely different from the time when she suspected Rolly and Adharsh having an affair. I'm hoping for Gurumaa to take Komal under her wing, and show that uneducated women needn't feel worthless.

I feel that the show has failed in achieving anything relation to social issues, but placing the weight on Pratigya's shoulders alone. Hence it's good that FINALLY they are involving the other female casts to have a story line each to work with.
I cannot imagine Komal educated overnight - But I would like Komal to be used as an example of a strong uneducated person. Rem at the wedding Gurumaa gave examples of 'uneducated achievers who have gone down in history. So obviously some light for uneducated ppl should also be shown positively.

Thanks mate...
I feel that the CV's and the audience both have ignored the plight of the other females. The focus upon carrying the social issues have been centralised towards Kriya mostly.
BUT now almost every show is cracking down towards real issues.
OUR surroundings do not face many issues as such, because of the country we live in and the calibre of people we associate with. We're amongst a modern society which has progressed to ruling the roost or equality, and shared childcare responsibilities. Over the last 20 years the society has changed where once a man was looked down on, if he helped his wife change their childs nappy (or diaper as they call it in the states).. is looked upon more favourably now if he seen potty training his child. Fathers attending a mother and toddlers group was rather uncommon - but in the last 5 years it's become more acceptable. AND this is how it should be. Both parents involved equally in their childs upbringing even if is against the society's traditional norms. YRKKH is giving fine examples of showing a fathers involvement in his childs life. You can really relate to the couple.
Diya aur Batti recently is showing 'killing of baby girls' is wrong and opening the eyes of people in this case.
MKAP has focused on marriages a lot. So has Maryaada. But they need to keep the balance right. Not all marriages are failures... There is much positivity in them and it's important to see that aspect too. So they should make sure they are not giving the wrong idea to the society. Hence I feel the topics and reality issues of an ideal life is dipicted well in YRKKH.
I hope they find a affective way of getting the message accross without placing the main pratoganist in the centre to give out cold stares alone which are efficient enough to freeze over the North Pole - but not effective enough to melt the heart of their audiences or mould their thoughts towards a more modern yet acceptable society.
You're right the focus has been so far on the more favourable romantic side of MKAP - But with the changing times of TV.. The CV's have buckled up to keep in the race. Hence they've pushed the boat out to take in the other females of the show too. Each of them are in a pickle and it's going to be interested to see how they are wiped out of it.

One thing I don't understand , why Prats failed to impress the Thakurs all these years ? Cari, as U noticed it rightly, the Amma and GD are going still backwards in their thought and actions. Instead of giving big bhashans Prats has to adopt smart techniques to lure them to do right things. It would have been a hilarious and interesting track to watch them learning new things and adopting the new life style and their hicupps in doing so. Prats has got the talent and caliber as she is able to change Krish to some extent
