For those who watched the episode and for those who are aware of the general outlook of MKAP...All of you would be aware of the fact that MKAP tries to present two sides ..One a Practical, realistic and contemporary mirror of the society in all its hideousness while the other is that of a shining idealism in all its impracticality in the present world ..One is represented by Sajjan Singh while the other is represented by Shyam saxena..
Yeah but we all know what a failure this portrayal is,or at least of the alleged allegiances of both factions to realism and idealism respectively......
In todays episode we saw a harsh and unflattering but truthful statement of the way of life in the present society..we also heard that arguments for idealism ...My query is " Do You Think it is wrong to accept recommendation or agree to use the influence of a big shot [ be it for a job, for a seat in a prestigious college/school or a distinguished post] .
Depends
.If yes !! Why do you think so ..Do You think that Honest people can get the breaks that is easily available to the other group
If NO ..Do you Think then that Idealism can only be preached but can never be practiced to the T Yes
What is your Opinion..A sincere and Honest opinion is welcome...
First off, I dont believe in idealism because man is imperfect by design.
What's OK for gods, deities and other heavenly bodies is not necessarily good or indeed achievable for mere mortals.
Ideals are forever out of your reach, no matter how hard you try your goal is always somehow eluding you....
achievables are goals that are real, practical and possible and the reaching of which doesnt necessarily infer you cant set yourself other achievables. Bit by bit, step at a time....
That's idealism out of the window for me....
The next problem I have is the issue of sifaarish which to my limited understanding is a "reference"
Nothing wrong with the principle of submitting a reference - in the Western world, you cant get a decent job without one - no matter how much they like you in the interview...
IMO the offending principle here is not sifaarish, but nepotism, and bribery, thelatter two of which must also be treated seperately and indeed are, as bribery can amount to criminal conduct but nepotism is not.
Waiting to be be hacked to pieces (and looking forward to it) I'll zip up at this point simply by saying No Problemo with taking a Reference even from an egotistical, mysogenitic nepotistic old coot like SS!
