it is like..when Pratigya takes some independent decision and takes action ...then she is a modern day feminist who has the right to make her own call, doesn't need any counsel from her F*Ly ...but when her decision blows on her face and she is bombarded with abuses from all sides..then she becomes a vulnerable and tender woman who needs to be supported....hello..!! U cant have it both ways...either be independent and be ready to face the consequence ..or stop trying to commit harakiri

Sathya, u also forget.......when Krishna does not support her actions, then he doesn't love her......all her actions needed K to help her or support her...wouldn't a feminist do everything herself? better yet she would never tie herself to a man in the first place.....yet none of them see that,... to them she is a modern day joan of arc...........well remember joan of arc was burnt alive at the stake....

Ferdous,

Hasn't he given that advice to Pratigya before😕. But she never takes heed of those wise words. I may sound bit controversial but I don't think Pratigya is very well written character. Not much thought process went into the character apart from she fights for right and truth.

exactly! he just wants to keep her away from troubles
the only reason why i think he stopped her from interfering in Kesar's life is just because he is concerned for her.

he thinks when Kesar herself is satisfied with whatever wrong happened with her than why does prats need to interfere and cry for rights, justice all the time.

U know what I always thought as to why they show P like this?...I think they want to send a message out that do not behave so rashly like her, you might not have a husband like her to support you!!
Because she does act so rashly, without once thinking of the consequences.....she never admits to being wrong ( I would have warmed up to her more if she did that!)......and she never ever consider's her husband........that to me is the height os selfishness........when u live in an extended family u need to consider others living there because everything is so delicately balanced ...but she never does that!!....I know that and I live in a nuclear family, grew up on a nuclear family as well......!!

I am with u sheena...Pratigya is a cardboard character....so far in this show...there has been groW*H either progressive or regressive from all the characters...but Pratigya is still in a limbo...her groW*H rate is almost zilch ...she is stuck in a loop...always repeating the same mistakes..again n again
