you are so right...different abuses exist....but what I want to say is there are also different relationships.....and in some cultures a husband slapping a wife for something that touches on his izzat or the families is accepted...the Asian society is like that......it is the modern sensibility that anything from a slap to life threatening situation is DV...........I think many ppl in relationship are wise enough to know when it is nothing and when it is something very serious.......

it is upto the individuals involved to decide what is acceptable to them..........

...many people on this forum pick on Krishna's slap to p....what about when she slapped him? or nainaji slapping adarsh and arushi? p slapping angad? thakur slapping Shakti..........then by that definition, all of this is DV.....

Krishna knows his family better than anyone else...his advice/caution/order to P always comes across as abrupt or autocratic.....but if ppl look under the surface, it is so because he wants to protect her....

...I believe this is the case...he knows his parents have gone over the limit...to protect P he has to be harsh......she cannot seem to understand when u prick the serpent it will lash back....
