Lovely post filled with intrinsic humor...much needed balm for me ..

Krishna saw all of her , not only her fair mindedness , her courage, her grouchiness, he also sees her single minded devotion to her family, her devotion to her father, her inability to include him in the inner circle..his knowledge that she has hidden many things from him...and knowing all this he still continues to head over heels in love with her..he knows she is no angel[she has never claimed so] , yet he considers her his magical fairy queen...

Pratigya is a conservative and rigid princlpled girl..I honestly think that till date she was petrified of Krishna's Passion, she knew if she softened or yielded then she will be engulfed and consumed in Krishna's love..and that she was not ready to do ..she needed time to adjust , to accept that when one falls in love..one surrenders everything..I think she is now ready for it !!

After the Adda, she has began to focus on him and not on his harkathen ..which used to bother her earlier ..she has realized that her hubby is naive, innocent , fair,loyal , compassionate and also violently passionate..and she is finding this combination irresistible !!

Pratigya is beginning to fall in love..I will go with that !! she is in love ...agree to it ..but has she understood that she is in love or has she even paused to think that she might be in love..

All her action's are not driven purely by love..it is also driven by a sense of duty , part guilt and enormous compassion....Pure unadulterated love has not come to her yet !! or perhaps she has not realized it yet !😃

I don't think Pratigya needs further impetus or proof of Krishna's love. And what she feels when she sees his love is not gratitute but WONDER! remember that lovely saat-janam wala scene at the Adda? She was gazing at him as if to say " Sometimes this man is so wonderful that I cannot reconcile it with the rest of what I know of him"
Now she knows that his worst is not so bad, and his best is bloddy Brilliant! 😳😳 Frankly, she has now come to a stage where her loyalties are unquestionable. Like I mentioned before, unless Krishna is very much in the wrong in the future (GOD FORBID!) she will always be by him.
And somehow tanths, I don't see prats as someone who lives with a dichotomy within herself unlike Krishna. She is not that conflicted. Once her mind has accepted his worth and innocence, her heart and gut followed fairly quickly. I don't think she will be coy in her expressions of love at all. I don;t think it is an aspect that guilts her. Like you say she may not be bold per se 😆 but definitely not repressed either.

Pratigya does not need any further proof..she already knows that he stood by her in her hour of need ...and she has been on the path of discovery ever since the Adda ..she has discovered his sterling qualities and also his warts..and she has accepted them ...whole heartededly ..

For me , her loyalties are questionable ..and I will not accept it unquestioningly ..she has to prove just the way Krishna proved [Again and Again]..that he supersedes everyone including herself...

I did not say, she is coy Dye.. just that she will not go in for exuberant display !!

Oh! yes she definitely has a lot to prove, Krishna might realize his OWN love but that does not immediately mean he believes hers.
Oooooo, I don't mind her having to prove her loyalties again and again and again! 😳😳😳😳 Ad nauseum is not a term I understand in this context!

As for as 'exuberant display', that depends entire on what you mean by that, sweetest Tanths! 😉😉😉😆. I would love an elaboration on what constitutes exuberance in your book! Sure to find it most edifying!

I have been harping on this point in almost all my posts ..That Pratigya's love is untested ...I will always have some reservation as to the genuineness until it too gets forged by fire .....Till such date..it will remain a suspect ...
