i agree with you mostly, but i don't agree that pratigya has brought disgrace to thakur family. This is because of the following reasons:

1) Angad didn't really do anything wrong to pratigya when she got kidnapped so WHY should she be afraid to tell about her kidnapping?

2) WHO CARES ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE. people who rub things in your face shouldnt be given any importance because first of all nothing really happened and second of all, even if angad did do something to pratigya that night, then it totally wasn't prats fault. The thakurs and her family members should understand that she was KIDNAPPED, she didn't go with angad herself so it wasn't her fault. LET OTHER PEOPLE SAY WHATEVER THEY WANT TO SAY, BECAUSE THEY JUST WANT A CHANCE TO DEGRADE OTHERS. PLUS YOU SHOULDN'T LET THEM CONTROL YOUR LIFE.

3) evn if angad did do something to her when he kidnapped her, she should still have told the court about his deeds because if he was alive, then he would get punishment.

In the country where Lord Ram disowned his wife Sita bec. of pressure from the society then where does the honour of a normal woman stand ? our respect is in our own hands and i dont think PRatigya is foolish enuf NOT to realize that NOBODY will believe HER truth ! her father is even more dumb than her who made sure the truth comes out ! even angad's friends were not willing to take pratigya's name in angad's killing but prof. surrender made sure that the whole world knows about it ! he cud have also said it in the court that angad was threatening him to get arushi married to him , blackmailing him etc. that's why this confrontation happened ..there was abs NO need for Pratigya to come forward and tell her "truth" ! all of them proved that they are "SUCKSENAS"

As for thakurs, they must do this "muh kaala" of their darling son Shakti who's been sleeping with random woman everyday but still come out clean ! i don't trust krishna either..but of course he won't be fair to pratigya , won't listen to her or believe her..i can't understand the reason for supporting her in front of his family..may be they show all this so that pratigya develops a soft corner for him..yest. she was moved when krishna said "she is my wife".....

The aim of the show is to show some gritty realism in-between all the fictional stuff......so Krishna falling in love with Pratigya at first sight, fictional. However the crank calling, following around and etc is based on real life - these things do happen.........From day one, we have seen Krishna's intense love for Pratigya - not understood by most, including her. He always stood by her and for her regardless of the circumstances or the person inciting....He repeatedly told her he will always be by her.....The true test is now.......tonight was the reality, he stood by her ..saying 'who did this ghatyia kam..' and then 'hamara biwi..' shows he still considers her his wife.......that this ishis love speaking......if he knows the full truth, he may still stand by her if she tells him she was raped....that is Krishna's character....he will always be with her because he loves her, because he is her husband and will do everything that a husband should do........he said it enough time!!......Nothing his family can do about it as well because his will is stronger!

Last time they left the Thakurs place, Krishna told his friends that your bhabi wants me to work and earn money (when she kicked up a fuss about eating food bought by force).....this time if he has to leave with her, he will definitely work or earn some money......each time a certain realism is shown and that of course, without knowing, he too is changing....all for love.

Great thought 👏 I also think the same krishna has changed alot for pratigya's love n he will stand by her no matter what. Even if he gets furious at it will not be for him thinking that she z impure but it will be because she didn't had faith in his love 😊

You are correct, they will suspect precocious behaviour on the part of the woman irrespective of whether she has been with a gunda or a gentleman. unfortunately, it is the way society back home and specially in northern rural communities think and react.

Hope the irony is that if a man was under the same roof with a woman for a night the society will conclude similar things but his act would be easily forgivable as Shakti's wld be if the fact that he brings women n da house would come in da open. It is very sad but it true that such is the hypocritical society we live in

Had she told krishna, no matter what his reaction i.e. angry or understanding, he would never have let her disclose it in a public arena for fear of this very reaction. to shield her from this reaction, he would have ensured that Shyamji's issue was resolved outside of the courts. Alas, she never trusted his unconditional love. her doubt her loss. Krishna stated this many times - I have never let any nainsaafi happen to you.

I am not surprised the way that he reacted today. he is hurting badly because of her distrust but that is something between them and he will never let the world see it. what he has to say to her will be said in private, if at all. he seems to withdraw when he is hurt and this time the hurt goes way deeper than when he found out about the 2nd angad slap. had he not seen her humilated with the face blackening he might have reacted even more detached upon his return. but he held her protectively because he sensed her vulnerability, her fear and more importantly her unneccessary shame.

That is what i felt that had she even 5 % of trust on him and told him everything the number of times he asked her he wld have resolved it between themselves as he strongly believes that what is between husband and wife should remain between them two and he told her that when she went to her house for pagh phera. However angry he wld have been he wld have saved her public humiliation

I am blown away today. Arhaan is amazing.

3 lines. that's all he had. three lines and I am blown. the rest of the entire epi is a blur. I remember nothing.

when he asked "who did it?" the emotions he conveyed are so difficult to describe. like a tree trunk weathered in the storm that she is leaning on for support and inspite of all the battering of the harsh waves he is strong enough for her to lean on and take support. no matter how battered he was emotionally with those simple words he gave a clear indicator that she was not as vulnerable or alone as her abusers thought she was. they would have to be accountable to HIM for her state of abuse.👏

then when he says "SHE IS MY... WIFE" the hesitation was so visible. for the first time he did not speak with confidence. he sounded like someone who was holding on barely. All along he has doubted that she did not think of him as her husband, yet that never stopped him from telling the world "this is my wife" boldly because he never had this doubt validated. yesterday in court he KNEW. she did not care enough or trust enough to think of him as her other half, her support, her ally so when he spoke today he spoke with the knowledge that his words were empty. his hesitation was painful to hear. it is difficult to claim something or state something that you know is a farce. sad really sad. anyways that is my POV. this is not to bash pratigya. her emotions and actions are her own but this is the knowledge the Krishna's final blinder about his real status as a husband is off. the illusion is completely and irrevocably gone. sad yet again.

the last part where he defends her- all I can say is that it will be tough for him to do. Her public disclosure shook his confidence and cut his legs right out from under him. he has no credibility in the eyes of his father. his alpha male status in that household is totally wiped out. it will be tough for him to exert any influence easily in this matter, especially, since he has no livelihood that will allow him to seperate and live with his wife alone.

the show was sad. Arhaan was amazing. krishna's state is heart wrenching. what a way to begin the weekend. cannot wait for monday.

It was heart wrenching to see Krishna's pain. loved Arhaan's acting today

See we as viewers know that but as far as the Thakurs go no Gunda will spare a girl if he has kidnapped her and not demanded ransom in return. If she wasn't afraid of telling them why did she keep it to herself for so long. Why did she wait till her Dad was in the jail was abt to get prosecuted for it. Because deep down she also knows her virtue will by at stake the moment such things are revealed to them.

2) WHO CARES ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE. people who rub things in your face shouldnt be given any importance because first of all nothing really happened and second of all, even if angad did do something to pratigya that night, then it totally wasn't prats fault. See I am strong believer of let the society not rule your living but the existence of a society we live in cannot be ignored. If society didn't matter we wld be living like the animals. Society gives us norms to live by I am not saying all those norms are correct and humane. If norms are not humane then social reform happen.

3) evn if angad did do something to her when he kidnapped her, she should still have told the court about his deeds because if he was alive, then he would get punishment.

Okay if Angad had done anything to her when she was kidnapped and he was alive the law wldn't have just punished him now because Pratigya says in the court that he is the culprit. As Perry Mathur said Law needs evidence and unless and until the three culprits who kidnapped her confessed it themselves the Law cld have done zilch. If they had done something it had to be dealt asap so that some DNA samples of the accused can be collected from the victims body not after 5 months. Come to think of it the cops didn't even file a FIR after she was kidnapped.

Unfortunately, we live in a world where double standard exists. Even for trival matters, men and women are viewed differently and judgement is passed.

Questions are raised if a girl is not married off by a certain age, but no such problem for a boy, where there are readymade excuses as to why he is unmarried. A girl who sleeps around is called names, but if a man does the same, his actions are acceptable. Single mothers have a hard time as well, especially when marrying off their daughters as questions are raised as to why the parents where divorced, and how will that daughter affect their son's life.

Education can only go so far, it depends on the mentaility of a person and changing the perception of society will only bring a lasting difference.

For all practical purposes, Krishna is under the impression that Pratigya was kept over night and Angad must have used her for that night...It is a general trend in that Crime...If a girl gets Kidnapped, most of the time (say 99%) gets raped...

So when he said she is his wife, he supported her despite him under the impression that she is not pure. That takes a lot of love and courage from a man to accept that his wife is not pure given the family and the society he lives in...

Till date men expects their wife to be pure before the marriage in India...Of course, here Pratigya was a victim for no fault of her. So it's Krishna's inner fight between his love for pratigya vs his expectation. We easily say it should not matter in love if Pratigya has a bad history because she was the victim...she did not wrong...
But its a great deal for a MAN...even in the west what we refer as a progressed society, men do not come forward to marry such victims so openly...
