Okay the highlight of today's show was undoubtedly KRISHNA. Have to say once more Arhaan you are the best.

Now Kudos to Pearl Grey for showing some reality you promised us. We have already read many posts condemning the thakurs treatments towards Pratigya and as a woman i condone it full heatedly. While watching the episode the thakurs with a few questions and statements of theirs made me realize this is reality

Okay first of all by washing her laundry once again in the public Pratigya has brought disgrace to their family. Although we are living in the 21st century but we still have conventional people in the society who will doubt Pratigyas virtue. At the end the day the opinion of the society we live in bothers us. The Sucksenas have always reminded us this fact. The society will not hesitate from telling the Thakur :'your Bahu stayed with another man for one whole nigt'. I understand what she did was to save her father but if that nutty professor hadn't stopped her from telling the truth to Krishna or Pratigya had not kept her Papa's vachan the whole Thakur family cld have been saved from public disgrace.

Today Pratigya was humiliated by her in-laws so inhumanly althg the blackening of the face was not required but things the in laws said to Pratigya did depict some reality. Seriously they knew Angad was a gunda so weren't the allegations they were making quite natural. Will a gunda ever spare a girl if kidnapped her. They were wrong at not hearing what Pratgiya had to say but then how many of us listen to people we hate from the bottom of her heart.

I agree with you. What the Thakurs said were very nasty (in fact I skipped over a lot, serious)...but the reality is this is what girls face when they are scorned or blamed for 'smearing' their characters. It is totally old fashioned, degrading beyond belief and very unfortunately it exisits in some parts of the world.

Society does not hesitate to cast the first stone, blaming the women for everything while the men gets away scot free. So it was nasty what they said and did, but reality is women do get killed over things like this (I did a post about it yesterday I think).....The show depicted some reality, loved how they showed Krishna supporting his wife and I guess he learnt something from the puja fiasco as he said he will deal with her in his way (and alone)...but the sad reality is that not many men will stand by their wives when things like this happen...because just by their act they could save many innocent lives.

I hope veiwers watching these in places where things like this happen, do question everything and take heart and start treating women more fairly.

pratz's dad was tryin to help her marriage by nt lettin krishna knw ...bt we all knw z truth has a funi wai of comin out...by doin this pratz's dad has onli made her life hell...now krishna is goin to think z reason pratz didnt sleep wiz him is cuz she knew she wasnt pure...this is sure goin to cause friction between kriya..krishna is sure goin to go crazi

Well if the article is correct, Krishna will soon find out in a pleasant way that he is absolutely wrong..!!...😉😆😆......but I think for once he wouldn't mind.....😳

What saddens me about all this is that ... what if something had happened to Pratigya during her kidnapping? What would Krishna and his family done then? Krishna practically forced Pratigya to marry him...

THey are not showing that here but in the real world that is what would have happened...would the family and Krishna have killed her? Sadly the answer is yes and I couldn't ignore those thoughts today.

The aim of the show is to show some gritty realism in-between all the fictional stuff......so Krishna falling in love with Pratigya at first sight, fictional. However the crank calling, following around and etc is based on real life - these things do happen.........From day one, we have seen Krishna's intense love for Pratigya - not understood by most, including her. He always stood by her and for her regardless of the circumstances or the person inciting....He repeatedly told her he will always be by her.....The true test is now.......tonight was the reality, he stood by her ..saying 'who did this ghatyia kam..' and then 'hamara biwi..' shows he still considers her his wife.......that this is his love speaking......if he knows the full truth, he may still stand by her if she tells him she was raped....that is Krishna's character....he will always be with her because he loves her, because he is her husband and will do everything that a husband should do........he said it enough time!!......Nothing his family can do about it as well because his will is stronger!

Last time they left the Thakurs place, Krishna told his friends that your bhabi wants me to work and earn money (when she kicked up a fuss about eating food bought by force).....this time if he has to leave with her, he will definitely work or earn some money......each time a certain realism is shown and that of course, without knowing, he too is changing....all for love.

Wonderful and honest post everything you say is true. most of india is still ultra conservative and almost all of India lives in the shadow of societal perception. the "blame the female" game is prevalent wherever you go - metros or small towns.

You are correct, they will suspect precocious behaviour on the part of the woman irrespective of whether she has been with a gunda or a gentleman. unfortunately, it is the way society back home and specially in northern rural communities think and react.

Had she told krishna, no matter what his reaction i.e. angry or understanding, he would never have let her disclose it in a public arena for fear of this very reaction. to shield her from this reaction, he would have ensured that Shyamji's issue was resolved outside of the courts. Alas, she never trusted his unconditional love. her doubt her loss.

Krishna stated this many times - I have never let any nainsaafi happen to you.

I am not surprised the way that he reacted today. he is hurting badly because of her distrust but that is something between them and he will never let the world see it. what he has to say to her will be said in private, if at all. he seems to withdraw when he is hurt and this time the hurt goes way deeper than when he found out about the 2nd angad slap. had he not seen her humilated with the face blackening he might have reacted even more detached upon his return. but he held her protectively because he sensed her vulnerability, her fear and more importantly her unneccessary shame.

I posted this part on tanthya's thread but as it relates to todays epi I thought I would copy it here.

I am blown away today. Arhaan is amazing.

3 lines. that's all he had. three lines and I am blown. the rest of the entire epi is a blur. I remember nothing.

when he asked "who did it?" the emotions he conveyed are so difficult to describe. like a tree trunk weathered in the storm that she is leaning on for support and inspite of all the battering of the harsh waves he is strong enough for her to lean on and take support. no matter how battered he was emotionally with those simple words he gave a clear indicator that she was not as vulnerable or alone as her abusers thought she was. they would have to be accountable to HIM for her state of abuse.👏

then when he says "SHE IS MY... WIFE" the hesitation was so visible. for the first time he did not speak with confidence. he sounded like someone who was holding on barely. All along he has doubted that she did not think of him as her husband, yet that never stopped him from telling the world "this is my wife" boldly because he never had this doubt validated. yesterday in court he KNEW. she did not care enough or trust enough to think of him as her other half, her support, her ally so when he spoke today he spoke with the knowledge that his words were empty. his hesitation was painful to hear. it is difficult to claim something or state something that you know is a farce. sad really sad. anyways that is my POV. this is not to bash pratigya. her emotions and actions are her own but this is the knowledge the Krishna's final blinder about his real status as a husband is off. the illusion is completely and irrevocably gone. sad yet again.

the last part where he defends her- all I can say is that it will be tough for him to do. Her public disclosure shook his confidence and cut his legs right out from under him. he has no credibility in the eyes of his father. his alpha male status in that household is totally wiped out. it will be tough for him to exert any influence easily in this matter, especially, since he has no livelihood that will allow him to seperate and live with his wife alone.

the show was sad. Arhaan was amazing. krishna's state is heart wrenching. what a way to begin the weekend. cannot wait for monday.

Yesterday episode was just horrible untill Krishna came.I dont know whatever they showed that happens in real life or not.If its the reality then its very cruel and rude reality.If you dont like your DIL,ask your son to divorce her but you dont have any right to humiliate her or her family to this extent.
