Thank You Binny ,
Yes !! Binny , Pratigya was humiliated yest...but !, yes there is a but....it is equally undeniable that Pratigya's public confession too will have an impact on Thakur's standing in the society ....[had she confessed to them privately or informed them previously...SS would have taken some action]..but springing it on them...she left herself wide to their taunts and they seized the matter with their hands..
One might say that she was focused on saving her papa and did not give a damn about her sasur....looking at the other side [If one is going to be truly impartial] ...SS was focused on winning the election and did not give a damn about prof ...FOR THE TIME BEING [This has to noted]...cos he assures Komal that once the elections are over ...he will get Guruji out...So it was not as if Guruji was sentenced to death and was going to be hanged immediately .....when viewed from this vantage...SS and Shakthi's rage is understandable.... No body likes to a laughing stock ..and Pratigya by her confession has made them a laughing stock....
We are raging that how dare Amma insult Pratigya and question her virtue...but once before too her virtue was questioned ......by Nitin's Mother .....so irrespective of education ..A girl will always be questioned about her virtue if it is known that she has contacts with some stranger...
Just finished reading an article where it is said that Krishna will get wildly angry on Pratigya ....so that puts paid to our hope of peace and quiet .....
I day more ....lets wait and see what is in store for us on Monday !! Tanthya
Well I seem to have gotten a bit carried away yesterday since the episode was so dramatic anyways I was happy with Krishna but I have read the article as well, his anger is truly no surprise it was something dreaded but expected by all of us. It is important for him to get all of his anger and frustration out, though I will not tolerate any physical abuse they can argue all they want since that is the only way they can communicate at the moment in order to clear the misunderstandings between them.
Yes I remembers Prats has been questioned on the same issue by Nitins mother I found that just as disgusting because no matter how this issue is tackled like the educated or the uneducated it is simply degrading to a woman's self respect. I also noticed how in both situations prats nor her family was allowed to speak about the issues enlightening them to the what really took place.
This was extremely painful to watch but the sad part is that it was also expected no matter whose fault it may have been in this kind of a situation (kidnap/rape) the women is always found guilty by her in laws, sometimes family, and always by society as a whole. This is the reality not just of our Indian but most cultures, this show has depicted a harsh reality which women who have faced such situations will easily identify with. But, I must add even if the things they said were 🤢 it was very realistic, each taunt was expected it was something every women in that situation would have been attacked with.
From prats a daughters POV she wanted her father out of prison and with his family, from SS he wanted to win the elections and he is willing to forsake everything in order to achieve his goal. I understand both very well but according to me SS is living with fake pride and self respect people do not look up to him they fear him. I guess he found it difficult to accept the fact that others would laugh at him most likely though they already did, after this though they may find the courage to do it in front of him this is what bothered him understandable it has been portrayed how strongly he upholds his questionable respect. Unfortunately this could have been avoided if Krishna had listened to what prats had to say putting his frustration aside just for a moment. I don't blame prats either for not waiting no one could watch their father behind bars and wait for the elections to finish up, and no offense SS is far from trustworthy just my opinion though.
