but this scene was required Hami ......this episode showed that Pratigya's father was inadequate in protecting [earlier on she would have said that her Papa was everything and would do anything] and it was only Krishna's intervention that saved her from humiliation and not her beloved Papa's pleas

....and secondly it was time for her to realize how vital is Krishna's support for her ...without his support the members of the family turned into ogres and SHE could not handle them single handedly

Most importantly... Time had come for Pratigya to know the extent and depth of Krishna's love ...and when he said that I will not forsake u..he really did mean it ....


for this reasons alone ..this episode was needed !!

here is the bit about Krishna's action.....

Informs our source from the show, "After giving her statement in the court and disclosing the entire incident, where she was abducted by Angad Yadav, who kept her for a day, Pratigya was aware that she has invited trouble in her life all by herself. But not even in her worst nightmares, did she think that she would go through extreme humiliation meted out by her mother-in-law. Pratigya's mother-in-law will blacken her face to prove that she is impure as she was taken hostage by Angad for a day. Pratigya always knew a storm is going to erupt in her personal life after what had transpired in the court but the humiliation by her in-laws will leave her zapped and stunned. Her husband Krishna, who supports her, will not be there to save her the insult, as he is out. As the scene progresses, Krishna enters the house and asks his family members to leave Pratigya alone. But he goes mad when he is left alone with Pratigya. Krishna will not be able to take it too kindly."

One thing I reflected from yesterday's episode the way the Thakurs and Nitin family reacted to Pratigya's virtue. Both families questioned it. Jagmohan's wife not in such a crude and horrfic way but still doubted her character.

I also wonder if part of Krishna's character is to show how a husband should behave and support their wives at their hour of need, as not many husbands would do in reality. Yes, he may make mistakes along the way but each time he seems to learn from them, and tries to make amend. Well, thats my POV.
