so sid, nikki:

hope for the best but expect less than the best and if you are in doubt about the small things (your woman's intuition will help you notice these things) don't ignore them but seek advice from your mom or even us (via PM or open forum) before you marry your dude.

and remember as long as your financially independent you will be fine no matter what the situation

OH God Kools... another scary story!!!

Sometimes I feel, best is to leave things to Mom and Dad. Let them decide. In any case you have to adjust after marriage.

I have become very anti- love marriage these days. Lots of cases around me have gone wrong.😭

Niki, dont b scared of love marriage. Love to shaadi se pehle bhi ho sakta hai aur shaadi k baad bhi but never become blind in love😊 Thats when u destroy urself.

U r a very sensible girl so dont worry. I m sure u will handle everything well when the time comes

I watch 2 Tv shows , this and Pavitra Rishta . Of all the characters , I like Krishna the most .... he is brilliant .

whoever is writing the lines for this goonda is doing a wonderful job! 👏
loved it when he said to her he already has friends, you do your job of being a wife. that was a gob smack of a dialogue. he's got his fundas straight. he can see and speak the truth.
loved it even more when he proved to her that she can't be his friend. obviously intelligence is not the same as education.

Ok. So I finally broke down and asked my husband what he thought of this whole lets be married and be friends but not have sex for some unknown or maybe even infinite amount of time and how he would feel if offered this deal.
He said that unless there is a medical condition at play here, I would think that she is not attracted to me and is using me and the marriage for something - for money, or security or the prestige of being married or to feel like a saint or.....
So my question for the long time watchers is why is Pratigya in this marriage (still) - clearly it in not out of respect for the institution of marriage or her wedding vows. What is she getting out of sticking around?

I respect yr opinion. However, I choose to disagree, simply because marriage is NOT just a certificate to allow consummation. This coming together of two people or souls, does not require a marriage certificate and is not mandatory once a marriage certificate is issued.
Marriage is meant to be a beautiful bond, which grows and evolves over time. I do not think its a mechanism wherein you complete a given list of personal and societal tasks.
Again, this is merely my opinion.
