Tell you what, people will be rejoicing that Pratigya did not forget the past and she will continue giving cold shoulder to Krishna...
Let us see what is the difference between the lie she was asked to tell by Krsihna and now by her father...
1. Krishna asked to tell it to please his family...
2. Professor has asked keep the truth hidden to safeguard her marriage. What marriage? marriage based on the lie? Who is going to believe her later if she says nothing had happened...? People will ask, if nothing had happened then why it was hidden at first place?
So even if we have to think OK, the two scenarios are different, she created more havoc for a petty lie which could have been resolved in private....
She opposed to lie then and started hating Krishna even more
Now, she opposed her father feebly, but agreed to hide the truth.
She had nerve to tell in front of every one that Krishna made her to lie. Will she have the same audacity to declare her dad had asked to keep the matter secrete when this comes out?
I am totally disappointed in the way truth was revealed...this girl has no remorse for treating Krishna like that....
It is like her saying, "OK, he did not do what I thought was a crime, but he is still at fault. I am going to punish him for the smallest to smallest mistake he committed..."
This girl has no introspection for treating KRISHNA like a dog...
Wah beta! This girl is a master manipulator. She plays the game rather well with her coyness, her lack of empathy, remorse or understanding for treating not just any man but the one she volunteered to marry to save her sister from daily hysterical outbursts. Her hypocrisy shines like the summer sun, she is blinded by her thirst for revenge. Psychologists will have a field day analyzing a person like her.
Here's how I see Pratigya's behavior based on a recent incident. Pratigya is a girl who has unresolved anger against her father. He is strong on principles but weak, fearful and helpless and flip-flops on issues based on his present state of mind. One minute he threw his daughter out of the house, next he was begging her to lie. His younger daughter was missing and he was sitting there as if he was worried as if the milkman being late was delaying his first cup of chai for the day. Where was the terrified father who would have left the house, rain or shine. to look for his daughter, called the police, anything? When reality shows up on his door step he is the weakest link in the household. Every little thing that happens, he sits down like he is about to have a stroke and the family hovers around him. As the head of the family he is a complete wuzz. His son has learned nothing from his father's weakness and treads the same path.
They say one chooses a spouse who similar or the polar opposite of the parent they have unresolved issues with. Krishna is the opposite of Prof. in so many ways. He is loyal, fearless and litrearily stands up to and for what he believes in. Often people don't value what they have until they lose it or are faced with the threat of losing it. Maybe Krishna walking out on her at some point will be the wake up call she so desperately needs. He deserves more than what she has been willing to give him. Even after the truth about Angad's crimes came to light, Prats is still looking for reasons why she should fight to hold on to her faltu power and make Krishna pay for the crimes of every man out there who has ever wronged a woman. Did she ever think that sometimes what a man does is a direct reaction to what the woman has done to instigate matters?
Until the day I see Prats really make the effort to reflect and attempts to right her own wrongdoings, she is on probation as far as I'm concerned. It's difficult to respect a woman who in her quest or power is bent on ruining an innocent man. A who has done nothing but loved her in his own way, respected her wishes more often than not, stood by her always even against the family that loves him, who is willing to give her the world all in return for just an emotional connection with her and a little love..............Love that only requires a willingness to feel and give and doesn't cost a penny. UGH! When will she ever learn?
