She could not refuse her dad, seh will take th eblam on her for her dad - Why didn't she do it fo rher husband or her In-laws....Simple she does not care..she is a better daughter..her aim is to be a better daughter than a better wife and DIL.
She did not go against SS when the politician cam home - Wasn't that JUST before she came to know that Krishna loved her but she di dnot do the Nitin beating, Arushi trouble, kidnapping or blackmailing.....She realised that Krishna was not to blalme on those things....Right that time the politician came home....She refused. Big Deal. ANyone would have done.....Did the SS family beat her up, did htey kept her without food, did they not let her visit her family, did they not gave her all the things inthe world, did they not keep her in a better way than bhabhi....What complain could she have done for SS....Pratigya said she will not live in that house and SS said now I will see how you will stay at my house....
So with all your arguement I am undersatnding that Pratigya has different set of rules and thinking for her family and a totally different set of rules for Krishna and his family.
It is bad for a husband to keep on persuing his wife but it si excellent for a husband to desert his wife.....Thats what her brother did......I think they all want to have a PROUD FAMILY - WE are the best - Les us live together and our spouses can go to hell...
In one word HYPOCRISY. She is so close minded. I make this statement bec' every time Nainaji has given her sound advice she has rejected it and defended her position time and again. Nainaji may not be a college- graduate but her life's experiences are grounded in reality, logical and sound advice from a woman's perspective.
Give Krishna a chance she said during pag-phere visit, Prats responded it sounds like a good idea, BUUTT he has done A, B and C so how could I forget, I have to teach him lessons. Nainaji also told her y'day that love heals all wounds and again she defended her own position, well I don't have any reason to hate him for those crimes but I can't/won't love him either, how can I think about loving him.
She will always look for reasons to justify her position and agenda. What she needs is an event to shock her out of her skin, that would be like an electric shock to the brain that will rewire itself so she comes to her senses. It will take Krishna walking out on her, agreeing to go through with a second marriage, to wake her up to the reality she will face.
Now that she knows Angad was guilty of the crimes what will she do if Krishna wanted to dissolve the marriage after he hears Angad's lies? Will this sanskaar filled girl be ready to walk out of her marriage and be a single divorcee? Will she look for another husband? If she doesn't want to have a normal marriage with Krishna then she should have the courage to tell him she wants out bec' she wants him to be happy and she knows she can't make him happy ever bec' she is all messed up when it comes to relationships. She may be surprised, he could let her go.
